Works great for me.
This strap carrier is a real help to lug my 80 pound Jackson fishing kayak from the truck to the river and back. I was quite nervous when buying my mini-barge due to my being 70 years old and not in great shape. The price of a stable kayak seems to be a heavy kayak. My first purchase after buying the kayak was a set of wheels for the longer hauls to the water. My second purchase was this strap carrier which I can highly recommend for carries up to 200 feet. It does not make moving a very cumbersome water toy into a pleasure but makes it possible. I have been fishing at least 10 times in the last two months and made good use of the carrier.

Pass. Not enouhj slack. You would need at least 1" diameter scupper holes! Wont fit my sun dolphin kayaks
Does not fit through acupper holes. Not sure how anyone is getting this to work. You would need 1 inch diamter or greater scupper holes for either end to fit through. Then, the slack is not sufficient. Would only be able to work on a tiny kayak. Notice in the picture that the person using it is a tiny woman and she is even on the verge of not being in the padded shoulder area in order to get enough slavk to the front of the kayak. Now imagine a man using this or on a bigger kayak. That photo is literally ahowing you all the slack you get!

Worked like a charm!
I used the carrier today for the first time. I was nervous after reading some of the other reviews. It worked like a charm and I had no issue. It fit the scupper holes on my Perception kayak with no problem. I was able to use this to put my kayak on my Jeep after I was out of the water.the strap is wide enough and did not cut into my shoulder.

It works ...
This product will do the job of helping one person carry their kayak from car to the water. It is better suited for some kayaks than others, but less expensive than a cart and gets the job done.

Not for me.
My scuppers aren't centered around the balance point ...essentially useless for me....the swivels are probably most of the value/cost.

Too small
Too small to fit the sit on top kayak. Straps need to be longer.

Only for skinny kayaks
It only works for very skinny kayaks, so it was useless for my kayak.
