The Dark Knight Trilogy - Ultimate Collector's Edition [Blu-ray] [Region Free]

Ok, so I think it's a given that this is up there with the greatest trilogies of all time, I realize my own personal bias may put it nearer the top of that list than others, but hey IMDB takes an average of user reviews, and each film scores between 8.3 and 9.0 from a total of over 2 millions votes. Lets remember art is subjective and whether a movie is great or not can't be measured, it's purely opinion, and based on opinion you have 3 of the greatest movies ever right here, wrapped up in a great set.What you get:Movies: If you own the previous individual blu rays released over the last few years then not much. The content is identical, you get 1 disc for BB, 2 discs for TDK, and 2 discs for TDKR, each of these discs are identical in every way to previous releases, meaning the movies and special features are the same. The only difference is a 6th disc which contains some never before seen special features including things like early auditions, where we see Christian Bale in what looks like Val Kilmer's old cowl auditioning for Batman Begins. There is also a long documentary with other film makers on the impact of the trilogy etc.... However there are no commentaries or deleted scenes added to the movies themselves.Toys: We do get a batpod, tumbler and bat, all approx. 4 inch long. A nice touch.Ultraviolet: We get a code to download all 3 movies.Letter: A letter from Chris Nolan regarding making the movies and tanking the fans.Artwork: A very nice book of art from the films, plus exclusive mini posters of the villains from the films.All in all this is a must have for hardcore fans of the trilogy, I would advise getting it and putting your old blu rays up for sale.

Quality is amazing, The Blu Rays look and sound like the God's balls and even the audio sounds really awesome - the transfers are absolutely phenomenal.The Box Set doesn't come with much stuff, but the artbook is rather alright but Mondo did a really good job on the new postcards. The Hot Wheels are just the basic ones that were sold around the release of The Dark Knight Rises, they could have at least done repaints or even a new sculpt.This could have been better, we could have had some sort of miniature Batcowl or at least a replica Batarang...but they wanted to stay classy, so we can't blame them for that.I love the product and adore the amount of detail they have packed into those special features, so I don't really care for the physical assets of the set. The new additions to the special features are really entertaining. The set is amazing.

I must admit I was sceptical about buying this when I saw it but I'm so glad I did! At first I thought I was going to get charged a much higher price for a fancy box and a couple of models but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. I'll even go as far as saying that I think I got more than my money's worth in this box-set!

Bought as a Christmas present for my boyfriend as he loves batman and this is perfect for anyone who's a batman fan.Box is quite heavy but really cool, right at the front where it's see-through is the recreations of some of the vehicles, they're a decent size so probably fit in your palm or a bit bigger.

Excellent Acquisition for Bat Fans!The discs containing are marvelous and exceed my expectations with the great extras, interviews and making-offs.Also the miniatures are a great “plus” to spoil bat-fans like me. :-)I highly recommend this box even for those not so involved at the Bat’s mantle.Cheers

The item is amazing. The book is perfect, and thumbnails of the Batmobile ... speechless. But the only problem in my opinion was the lack of subtitles or dubbing in Portuguese of Brazil in the first and third bluray.

So I've waited for a box set like this to get the FHD versions of Nollans excellent movies but...The pros:Images is as expected excellent (no complaints here).Disk cover is unique and original. Its a cover and a artbook.Photo book is great.The extra disk on the end add some extra material not available on the dvds.The cons:Most of the extras on the The Dark Knight are in the collector edition dvd...ALL of the disk's construction looks like a rental disk (in fact the all have in it "for Rental or Sale"... Disk goes straight to movie. no main menu, only an in movie menu so you have to change any options during movie play.... also extras on the Batman Begins are a joke, and for this movie there is no extras disk.The miniatures are Matchbox Hot Wheels toys available to buy on a toy shop (i was surprise to saw them 1st on a local retailer). This are not collector's edition material, not by far. Is 3 toys for your kids.So for the price if you don't have the Blu-rays yet this is a good deal, but if you are looking for something special then this is not the case...If you already have the movies in Blu-ray dont waste money on this edition. If you are like me and only add the DVD's then this is a good choice for the price.

Wow - what a great looking box-set. Discs are winderfully presented in a hardcover 'book'. Various other bits and pieces are included - art cards, a message from Christopher Nolan and of course the three models (tumbler/bat-pod, the 'bat'). The films themsleves? Superb, of course! Nice extra disc of new features too.

Obligada compra para tener de la mejor forma posible la obra completa de Nolan sobre Batman.Los 5 discos Bluray de las peliculas son los mismos de España, solo cambia la serigrafia de los discos. O sea audio en castellano de aqui, subtitulos en castellano nuestro y todos los extras subtitulados. Ademas el Disco Bluray Inedito qur contiene nuevos extras tambien está subtitulado todo en castellano. Los extras ineditos son dos documentales increibles.Además la presentacion del pack y lo que contiene es sencillamente espectacular.

Desde que vi TDKR en el cine estaba esperando a que saliera una edición así. Es una lástima que nunca haya salido oficialmente en España, pero no importa, porque las películas están en múltiples idiomas, entre ellos el español. Esta edición desborda calidad y atención a los detalles: figuritas, ilustraciones, un libro de fotografías, 3 discos adicionales de extras, y todo ello por un precio muy razonable.

Ideal para regalar. La caja está muy completa y contiene la trilogía en castellano, además de otros idiomas.Relación calidad-precio MUY BUENA
