Bought these for my son's size 3 ice hockey skates. Haven't yet tried to cut them down but are usable as they are - although not ideal as they do tend to slide off the back of the skates and almost lost one as hadn't noticed at the time. They do protect the blade and think I'll leave cutting them now everything is in a skate bag.

Very happy with this product! After cutting down the excess plastic, i then used a hairdryer tonheat up the toe end of the guard to get a custom fit, and then heated the heel of the guard and got a nice curve that follows the blade! Very happy!

They must be for figure skates I bought them for my hockey boots and they kept falling off at the toe complete rubbish
