CPR Aqua Fuge Medium Refugium w pump

Used on my 20 gallon, really happy I got this. Its a bit difficult having to reach around the tank to make adjustments but it is what it is, my corals are alot happier, tank is cleaner and it's nice to get the other misc. Equipment out of the display tank. Paired it with the submersible light.

This is a very nice unit. I used it for a hang on the side for my 90 gallon tank, and it is great. The clear side makes it nice to use as a refugium or a species only mini tank.

I have had this unit up and running for about two month now. I have to say it has made a world of difference in my tank. This unit is very quiet also.I highly recommend this unit for anyone with a mixed reef marine tank.

Hers the facts: If you fill your tank to the top like me when you lose power it will siphon back into the display tank about 1 gallon so you better leave space. I drilled a hole below the water line inside the box on the pick up tube so it will stop the siphon. I also added a over flow pipe in the event the main return gets blocked it wont flow over the sides. I built a 2 inch filter block, added my own aqueon light thats a fraction of the cost of the factory light. Added marine pure 1.5" balls and ceramic rings in the bottom, also added cheto that grows like crazy, I just rotate it occasionally and trim it. This works great along side a Reef Octopus 100 protein skimmer although I should have added the 1000 instead. I may add a larger pump to improve filtration since I have a heavy bio-load. I was concerned about the weight but 3 months now and no problems. My tank is a 65 gallon tall aqueon. I'll add some pics next time I take it off for cleaning.

I don’t understand why the WHOLE thing wasn’t made with dark plexiglass???????I have a neon light blazing in back of my tank all night and there’s no need for itThe light needs to shine only inside the refugium!!!

I was really impressed with the superior build quality of this product. I have tried to go cheap before with plastic knock offs and what a difference. It may be a little expensive but worth it, also tons of room for mangrovs cheato a heater and more.

I LOVE this refugium. Attractive, and so easy to set up. I filled mine with Miracle Mud and macro algae. I believe that it helped knock at lease a couple weeks off of my cycle.

solid, I don't really have any gripes, been running mine 6 months now no issues I have my heater in it a big ugly blob of chaeto and some miracle mud, threw some fluval prefilter ceramic media in the tray before the out flow for a little mechanical/biological filtering but no threat of blocking the out flow the pods are surviving without me adding much of anything to it so nutrient export thing seems to be working. I do wish the outflow was enclosed in some way been thinking of rigging something to do that I turned the water flow way down to eliminate water splashing on my lights.
