I’m delighted with my adorable friend! I’d love a dachshund but can’t have a dog for various reasons so decided to treat myself to one of these. Some reviewers said it didn’t look like the photo but mine does and he also stands up as in the photo. His fur is beautifully soft and he is so cute to look at. Quite expensive but I decided to buy this one rather than cheaper ones because he looks quite realistic and high quality. I wasn’t disappointed. If you are buying for a very young child I’d go for a cheaper, more soft-bodied version but older children & adults who like dogs will love this.

Very attractive but a bit pricey!
A bit expensive for a soft toy, but a very successful present. Not suitable for a small child because of the fluffy facial hair.

Too realistic!
WE have a real miniature wire haired dachshund. This is a litle bit smaller but is so realistic we have actually told it off a couple of times for climbing up on the kitchen table!

Incredibly well made and beautiful
This is such a beautifully crafted toy, but to call it a toy does not really do it justice. Bought for a relative who lost their dog of same breed and they utterly treasure it. It really is gorgeous, as nice on display but also tactile.
