ARIES 5058 1-1/2-Inch Black Steel Grille Guard, No-Drill, Select Dodge, Ram 1500

Easy to install, had it on in about an hour. Looks good, fit perfectly

Installed this grille guard in a weekend and was made easier by making it a two person job, but it would not be impossible to do solo, but at points would be more difficult. I absolutely love the look it gives the front end and how stout the guard is.I have uploaded pictures including those during the install with some helpful info. The guard was delivered via 16’ box truck and was well protected inside its box. I can report no abnormal vibration or noise as a result of the install during Highway speed. The headlight beams are not obstructed and the profile of the guard does not rise into view above the hood. (See Pictures)Update (2/13/21)I have added additional pictures since install. I am very pleased with this investment, I still get compliments on the looks of it. No rust, no paint issues.Update (1/4/24)The Grille Guard did its job in early November, saving the front end and my truck after an unfortunate and unavoidable deer strike. A Drivable Truck, Replacement DS Door/Body Work coming up in late Feb. (instead of) likely Catastrophic Front-End Damage. I thought I would share this for any of you looking at purchasing this guard. I love the look and it's really solid, instructions were kinda crappy but if you have basic common sense you'll be fineDon't use the headlight brackets tho, they pull out the mounting bolts and just aren't worth the hassle

Overall it's nice, that's why I gave it a 3 ⭐. Outside of that, the top brackets that mount behind the headlights are too thick, cause the headlights to point down. The mounting holes did not line up well at all and could only get one screw to thread in a hole and even that was a huge struggle.

Easy install decent instructions looks really good and doesn’t wabble at all after install.Heads up can’t see it from inside the truck. Overall worth the money.

I just installed this on my 2009 Ram 1500 and I love how this Grille Guard hugs the contours of the truck more than other brands that I have seen. I did mount a 30" light bar to it just last night with some room on both sides to spare. I did have to pick up a few washers at the local hardware store for the pre-made mounting holes, but still gets a 5 star from me.

Instructions suck! The mount up by light assembly needs to be cut down or removed for hood to close. Do not tighten everything down like it says. Wait till all assembly is done for ok fitment then tighten. I say ok fitment because far tolerance for putting together
