I am one of those that doesn't need to wear my glasses 100% of the time. When not wearing I would tuck them into my shirt pocket or hang the on my collar. Invariably when I would bend over for some reason they would drop from where I'd stowed them onto the ground, often scratching the lenses. I eventually started buying cheap drug store readers because the damage to my prescription glasses was expensive. Then my wife got me some of these for Christmas. They were fantastic. The attach quick and easy to any shirt with no damage to the garment. This device never let my glasses fall to the ground. I finally lost my supply after a couple of years. They are magnetic, so will be attracted to steel object you may bring close to your chest. For me that was things like working on the car, moving a washing machine, stowing my golf clubs. Oh, and leaving them on you shirt for laundry (search the inside of your washing machine and dryer). That's how you end up losing them. They don't wear out or break. I just bought another pack of three because once you use these you will never want to be without them. People that I know that have seen mine and gone out and bought knock-offs, primarily because I couldn't remember who made mine when they asked me about them. Apparently the knock-offs don't last long. These are the most expensive (they are the originals), but like I said, as long as you don't lose them they will last forever. If you are tired of dropping your glasses, or forgetting wear they are, get these and your glasses will always be secure and quickly accessible. This is not an ad. I am just a happy user who is glad someone invented these.

The magnets are quite strong, so I have no worries about them slipping or losing my glasses. And yes, I am an old lady but I didn't want the old lady look of the necklace. These work great and I'm so glad I found them!

I like having the eyeglass holder on my clothing. I do not have to look everywhere for my glasses. They are always on my person.

The strength of the Magnification. Very stylish. These are very well made and the magnification to hold on to your shirt is extremely powerful.

I have a great deal of trouble trying to corral my reading glasses. It seemed like I spent half the day trying to remember where I left them. I hate the look of cords and chains holding them around my neck. So when I stumbled across these holders I decided to give them a try. I’m very glad I did. I bought a set of 3 in black because I wear so much black. This way the holder is virtually invisible. The magnets are very strong and effortless to affix to clothing. The glasses stay secure. I have never had them fall off. When I leave the house I can wear my non-prescription sunglasses and still have my readers handy if I need them. And if I’m not wearing a coat or jacket over my shirt, I change the position of the holder more toward my shoulder.The only reason I didn’t give this item 5 stars was because one of the magnets came off the outside piece after about a week. However, as I said, the magnets are very strong and when I detached it from the back piece I was just pulling it straight off. Now, instead, I use a gentler twisting motion to separate them and so far no more problem.The buyer should be aware that the holders come with a warning about their use with pacemakers and defibrillators.

Only down side is to use caution when fastening. Magnets are so strong I’ve pinched my fingers twice.

I bought this specifically so I could have somewhere to put my pens if I don't have a shirt pocket. It works great for that purpose. Some clips have difficulty sliding on the metal, but most of the pens I use have no issues. Plus, the magnets are super strong so it doesn't go anywhere even when I bash a pen into it to get it to stick. I love it!

I’m surprised how well this works. The magnets are strong enough to hold the glasses through normal routines.

This little item is wonderful. Well-made, pretty and useful all at the same time. First time I ordered these, all my friends wanted them so ... I ordered again! All my friends are getting them for Christmas this year! I'm also giving one to my dad as he is always carrying his glasses around and leaving them...
