Not for gnats...
I was very disappointed in this product. I bought it because we had gnats and it did not seem to help. The first time I unplugged it the plug broke off in the outlet.

Mosquitos, gnats, and small flies get GONE by these devices. I have put them in all over my house. Live in Phoenix, AZ in an area with lots of mosquitos. We are able to keep our sliding glass doors open in the evening, and any stray mosquitos are gone in a day or so.I am recommending these to all of my friends.

Save your money!!!! They seriously don’t work!!!
Don’t waste your money on this product!!! I wish I could give negative stars! I purchased these because we had a problem with mosquitoes getting in the house over the summer and even after I bought these we still had mosquitoes in the house. We had these on at night per the directions for over a month and still it did nothing.

Spend a little more, get slightly larger ones; these may not be bright enough to attract bugs and since I have not seen any dead ones, may not be powerful enough to zap them

Terrible quality
As soon as I unplugged it one of prongs was stuck in the socket. After opening it up I noticed the solder joint from the wires to the prongs were not suitable for replacing the device in a different location.

Gets the job done
The product is fairly flimsy, made of thin plastic, but gets the job done. Be careful pulling it out of outlet as it will break easily. We were able to fix it however. It definitely picks up a lot knats that easily creep in when the door opens. It doesn’t catch every one, which is swept up the next day by a vacuum. It’s best used at night when all the lights are out.
