This is small and light and packable for travel but a little tippy. It's too easy to knock the whole thing over when reaching for your bedside phone when it rings in the early morning. I wish the base was slightly bigger and that the angle at which it holds the iPhone was a tad less upright.

I paid a lot for this when it first came out, and even though it was pricey - it's stayed with me through thick & thin, stows easy in the backpack, works with every single tablet & iPhone I've ever used. It's wonderful.Don't let the simplicity of this stand fool you. It's perfect for anything flat!At least one review claimed this only works with small tablets / but nothing larger than 7". "BALDERDASH!"Generally I use this for my iPhone 4 models - but I HAVE used it for tablets of all sizes. Everyting from 8" - my iPad 1, and also a 10" PC tablet.If using a larger tablet - the only thing to remember is - when clicking something in the top 2" of the the screen - picture yourself PINCHING the top of the device, poising your thumb at the desired button. Device will NOT FALL. Easy Peasy!Respectfully - anyone who says this cannot be used with an 8" tablet has never actually tried it.Also not restricted to straight-edged rectangular objects. I don't mean to sound silly, but to convey just how skillfully designed this is, I've sometimes rested CDs on this stand, headphones too. Just now - i tried experimenting with various objects within reach here, on my desk. I got a mouse to rest reliably on this stand (absolutely no possibility of falling off). Again - just to see how much I could get away with - I also stood a 3-pack canister of racquetballs. Then I stacked 6 ballpoint pens, easy-peasy. Two different bluetooth speakers - each one very bulky (not "flat" at all). .I bought this a long time ago - fair & square. This stand does not work for my Samsung Galaxy S5. The plug does not sit properly so the phone leans to the side and keeps falling over. Very disappointed. Waste of money!!

Works well from my Samsung Note 4. I'm able to charge my phone with a pretty bulky case.

I have had the s3 for about the last 2 years. I really liked how the Samsung stand worked for me but it does not work as well with the s5. This does a great job for letting me plug in the charger and have it be my Alarm clock as well. I was even able to "adjust" it some by bending the metal for my needs.

I tried a few different stands before finding this one. It's just right for holding my iPhone and iPad, each without a case. The stand holds a charging cord nicely in place, so you're not always trying to hunt for it. The gold color is attractive, even classy.

I bought this for my daughter-in-law for her birthday. She loves it! It not only holds her iphone it also holds the kindle! She uses it everyday!
