An intelligent page turner. An exciting story with characters you can invest in. It was a great continuation of the Kingsfountain series.

Another great book!& On to the last...I'm starting to worry about what I can read when I've finished them all.

It’s very rare that I follow a series of books and feel as excited and engaged as when I read the first novel. The Kingfountain series has been one of the best collection of novels that I have read. From the first to the last book, it has been a joy to read. The twists and turns have been excellently contrived and the storyline has remained coherent throughout. The main characters are a wonderful collection of heroes and villains, all fleshed out and three dimensional - I was very sad when I came to the end of the last book 😩 . What a journey!

The book had all the requirements of a good book - intrigue, love, war, magic and a story line that is easy to follow and for me the Xray.

I was the painted knight.... So good was the plot that you get drawn into the plot and characters portrayed. I cried, I smiled and my heart swelling as I read faster. So sad I'm going into my last book. But so looking forward to it. Great read and you should too.

The ongoing saga of the families involved over a series of novels, kept me intrigued throughout. Politics, war, deception, love and the destruction of kingdoms, made for a thoroughly enjoyable read.
