Full of good botanical notes
A very nice gin with good botanicals on the palate. Leaves a lasting fresh finish. Smooth and slips down easily. Am not keen on Adnams other offerings but First Rate is worth every penny. A classy little number.

Tastes of vodka. Rank.
I bought this from the Adnams Distillery shop in Southwold, usually a big fan of Adnams and love their Copper House gin. It's my favourite gin.This, however, is rank (in my opinion) and the bottle mentions vodka as an ingredient. It basically tastes of vodka. Not what I wanted when I got a bottle of gin.
