Straightforward/inexpensive solution to dashcam install avoiding always-on cigar lighter socket issue on Skoda fabia.Don't have to worry about battery drain now.Installation wasn't difficult, the longest time was identifying suitable fusebay, panel removal (i used a special plastic pry tool to avoid damage) and finding suitable grounding bolt (that will all be car model specific and experience with such tasks will determine install duration)

As others have said, the cable is approx 2m, so may be too short for some - it was just long enough to fit in a Seat Alhambra, but I did have to adjust my dash cam position to accommodate.It's a shame that you can not choose the fuse kit, as the micro option only comes with an ACN (Mini) fuse kit, and I'd have preferred a ACU to wire to the cigarette lighter. Fortunately, I managed to find a spare fuse location to use, but it did mean it took longer to install. I could have gone for the four fuse kit option, but that would have meant I would have to use a micro adapter.

I am very happy with my purchase.I bought it for a nextbase dash camWhich has a standard plug this kit comes with a micro plug. I needed to buy an adapter.

I use these kits for installing dash cams a lot and I highly recommend this one. No need to splice into existing wiring just plug it into a existing fuse.

Great price.Very easy to use.Hard wired my sat nav in around 15mins.With a little help from a few You Tube videos of course👍
