Shakespeare Beta Spin Rod - Black

Got this rod to go with my Shakespeare Omni 30 Rear Drag Reel (which i bought at the same time), and it is a really good rod, really good quality. I use the combo of rod n reel mainly for spinning but they are a great all round rod and reel for many types of fishing.

Very good quality rod & value for money. If you wanted something more tapered, thinner or more sensitive towards the tip look elsewhere. This rod is very thick at tip probably making it very sturdy with bigger fish but l would have liked something with lighter action than this tbh. Why you need to look at them in an actual shop l guess. It was under £20 so nothing lost really. Will be a good backup

Ordered this for my first time pike/lure fishing, got the rod in super quick time, even though the packaging wasn't what i would call protective, just a thin case, but the rod was un-scathed. tried it out that day and it easily held a beautiful fish. Great rod and fantastic value. thank-you.

I bought this rod back in july and have used it maybe a dozen times with great results but during todays fishing trip the largest guide insert fell out.... Not even sure if replacements are available or if the rod is still useable. I fear the line may snap on the bare guide ring if under any kind of strain.. Apart from that i found the rod sturdy and easy to use and cast..

I bought this rod to start fishing again, as I'd stopped many years ago (having moved to somewhere not as accessible to sea fishing). I didn't know if I'd keep it up, so I started off cheap. I already know I've got the fishing bug all over again, so I've already purchased a Savage Gear SGS2 Medium Game rod, but I'm still going to keep this Beta with me.It's very sturdy, and very forgiving. The tip isn't anywhere near as sensitive as I'd like for lure fishing, but I'll certainly be using it to lob out a bait from time to time. Very impressed with it, especially given the price. I've paid three times this for a rod half as good in the past.If you're just starting, or have kids who are just starting, you can't going wrong with this.

Bought this to take my 13 year old son fishing for the first time. Nice, long sturdy rod.Helped him catch 5 rainbow trout including a 14lb monster

I’ve got to be honest I wasn’t expecting much from this rod. But I was pleasantly surprised with the quality ! I’ve even used this rod with a 4oz weight and gave it everything I have just to try and break it but the little beast took it like a champ for the money this is an amazing rod.

Tolle QualitätDieses Produkt kann man wirklich sehr empfehlen. Habe eine 2 Rute nachbestellt, da mein Sohn auch eine halben wollte.
