We kill spiders - namely wolf spiders- daily in our house. We treat for them inside and out with sprays and granules, to no avail. About a month ago, a spider the size of a small child burst through my mailslot. After a violent struggle involving scorpion spray, a hammer, and many obscenities, i made it out alive.And then i overnighted these plugs to myself- the only thing i hadnt tried yet.Now, it may have been that my mad spider-killing-ninja skills intimidated all the bugs and they ran in fear, or it may just be that i installed these everywhere, but i have not seen one single bug or spider since that day.No idea where they all went, never saw them fleeing, nor found them on glue traps, or found bodies... they were just gone. Super weird, but i wont complain!!!

Everyone in my family can hear it at the medium and highest setting, which is the recommended setting for daytime use. Horrible noise, like high pitched shrieking and it was making my kids grouchy and giving me a migraine. Terrible experience.

Was looking for something to help with these flies and mosquitos. This works great, flies still come inside but they are trying to get out of they die. Placed one in the garage for spiders and haven't seen spiders, I keep it on silent but sometimes will turn the sound on for a minute.
