I'm taking Carnitine mostly for its cardiovascular effect. I tire very easily and get out of breath after minor exercise. For about a year I was taking L-Carnitine Fumarate along with other amino acids and supplements. I was doing better but had been hoping for a little more.... Research led me to Glyucine Propionyl-L-Carnitine. Several small studies showed it was superior for getting the most out of exercise and for building strength. I tried taking half my usual dose of L-Carnitine Fumarate and with the other half I switched to the Glycine Proprionyl, Glyco Trax. Within a few weeks I experienced a small but real increase in stamina. It's now been a few months taking two capsules of Glyco Trax iAM and late afternoon. My stamina and ability to recover sooner have both increased.

I have added this into my daily stack for heart health; taking it in the morning and most afternoons, so the 120 capsule bottle is super-convenient! It's only been a few weeks, but I started to notice quicker recovery after long runs. Workout-wise, I don't have "leg days", just days with a little bit more attention to lower body work. I am trying this supplement because of cholesterol issues. I'm hoping the head off any plaque build up issues. After three weeks of 3 caps a day, my blood pressure is down 10 points for both numbers. My numbers weren't bad to begin with 122/80, but I like the 112/68 better and so did my doctor. I don't take any prescription drugs at this time. I'm going to try this supplement for a few months and see how it goes.

I use this Glycine Propionyl L-Carnitine with ALCAR, another form of Carnitine, ALCAR. Although both are forms of Carnitine, they have different MOA's and affect different bio systems and work synergistically. I use this combo to enhance my resistance workouts because I go as heavy as I can, and sometimes more, lol. It impacts mitochondrial health, which I believe is key to a long and healthy life. Anti-aging.

I ordered this GPLC in April and OCT 2019 the contents in the caps was white. I just ordered from their website homepage 4 days ago and received order that has much larger pills and contents in the caps is light tan. The smell is different between the two also. Larger size pill bottle of course. I am wondering what the difference is...

I take 2 each day for a normal day and 3 when I have a big workout. I don't know if it is a coincidence but I have incredible abs strength and I am more defined. Good for brain work too. I am skinny muscled and now I am even more so.
