Bought it for my friends 94 year old dad whom would like to use it but he said it’s no good at all, not what a smelling salt should be.A man his age should know how it should smell, he doesn’t use it because it’s not working.

Just tossed the whole smelly mess in the garbage.

I expected ...smelling salts....as a solid substance...like 'grains'. ., pity this product could not be returned. REGRETTED I EVER PURCHASED SAME...HAD TO THROW IT OUT.

I bought the item hoping that the negative reviews were just expecting too much or overly critical. I should have listened. If you want to know what it is comparable to, open a bottle of perfume or flavor extract and take a big draw of that. Yep, that is about it.... the solution is primarily ethyl alcohol (65%) maybe a pleasant smelling aromatic might have some purpose, but if you are looking for something to jolt you up, or get you ready for a big lift, look elsewhere. Perhaps nose tork.

I am writing in behalf of a friend of mine who asked me to order "smelling salts." They have helped her recover from occasional dizzy spells that no doctor has been able to resolve. I constantly encourage her to continue to look for a medical solution to her problem, because I'm concerned that she has a neurological or vascular problem. However, these drops definitely work as advertised.

I tend to get dizzy and "fainty" quite a bit, and I find this product very helpful (it's the second time I'm ordering it; same quality as the first time). Delivery was prompt, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Works well, just be sure to keep the jar tightly sealed, otherwise it will leak. Also, ammonia has a finite shelf life once you open the bottle. In other words, the liquid will still be there, but the smell will diminish.

it is what I needed as I am able to use a small amt in small glass bottle which is a great smelling salt for headaches

this is in liquid form not very strong smelling contains ammonium carbonate, Ethyl alcohol, lavender oil, lemon oil ,Terpeneless ,myristica oil, and purified water. nothing like the traditional smelling salts with the cotton wool in it. I got an old smelling salts container put some cotton wool in it then poured some of this smelling salts into the old bottle smells a bit stronger and because its soaked in to the cotton wool less chance of spillage.
