Not worth $30.00
This product feels cheap , like ten dollars cheap , definitely not worth $30 at all, had it in my room with plenty of mosquitoes around and they weren't attracted to it at all, for me it doesn't work . Price should definitely drop.

Must be used properly to work
Bought this after dealing with mosquitoes in my house for a few days- I can only slap the air only to be disappointed so many times. This “mosquito killer” works but you have to use it in a specific way. The best use case is to leave it for an extended period of time in the dark. It attracts mosquitoes using the black light but if you have other lights on it won’t work well.I was working in the garage with a swarm at my feet/ankles and I sat with this product on the ground right there (powered by a battery pack which is cool) BUT it didn’t work because the mosquitoes didn’t fly close enough for long enough for the fan to suck them in. The fan isn’t that strong but it will work, left it overnight in the garage and found about 5 dead mosquitoes in there. All in all it works but perhaps not as well as you might hope.

Trap or Zap?
This thing works when used in a dark room. We have a lot of flies in our house, galaxy knows where they came from - probably from the cat poop left behind in our yard by the neighbors' cats - and this thing captures them slowly but surely. They all seems to eventually get attracted by the light and you can hear a little grinding sound as they get sucked into their prison. The problem is though that they don't die immediately when they get sucked in. They die a slow death unless you release them outside, which I don't know, beat the purpose of getting rid of these menace. One time, the flies were able to maggot each other in like a period of half hour, it was totally disgusting where the maggots started to squirm their way out of the breathing holes around the machine. That was enough to give me a life long nightmare but at least it only happened once. Which begs the question - should we really be trapping these things alive? The product really works with a little patience and setup but perhaps we should just zap them with something else.

Only attracted and didn't kill
Bought this unit and another brand. This brand was a bit nicer because you could turn the unit off and on with a button and it was quieter than the other model. The problem however was that this thing wasn't really a mosquito killer. I had it on near the front door. I checked to see if any bugs gotten zapped and when it opened it up to check a few moths and a mosquito flew out. So it attracts bugs but didn't zap them. Maybe that was my fault but I was thinking it would just zap and kill them. Didn't have a lot of success with this thing.

tremendous.
I really like this for in the house because it is non toxic and it works awesome-ly. mosquitos are attracted to it and it takes care of them. Also, a moth was really bugging me, it was too quick and evasive, I could not catch it, but then I thought of turning on this. Sure enough, the moth loved it, and though I believe its openings are too small for moths, it kept the moth entertained until I could take care of it.

Returned it, didn't work for us
Didn't catch any small flies or mosquitoes in our home. ran for a couple days in 2 locations. picked this unit instead of spending $40 for a more popular unit thought I'd be just as good didn't work for us maybe our flies are smarter than other flies. I don't know but we returned it and we didn't replace it with anything else.
