Superb design for ease of installation
Such a well thought out design. Super easy installation, performed solo to a 2020 Gladiator Rubicon. Marries perfectly to the stock steel skidplate. The factory fog lights fit perfectly without even having to use the provided brackets. My install tip is route the factory foglight wiring harness through the bull bar. It fished straight through with ease, and no need to use any zip ties to keep the factory harness secure. Such a steal for the money. I cannot speak to durability however, but it seems sturdy enough. You may want something with a touch thicker metal though if you plan on being a battering ram.

Amazing upgrade
I purchased this EAG bumper to use with the EAG skid plate (JJKFB001) and Smity XRC gen2 9500.The packaging was fantastic, everything was well wrapped in styro-foam and clear packing tape. I hadn't opened the box immediately and it sat packaged outside while I anxiously awaited the winch. The amount of trash the packaging generate was startling at first glance but it was well protected.I installed the winch onto the plate with rollers and tow rings. The EAG was heavy, albeit the winch was installed, and way heavier than the stock bumper. The stock bumper was lighter than I expected when I finally broke the hardware loose (it had been installed since 2007). I used a half inch deep well socket with a wobble extension on an 18" breaker bar. A couple felt cross threaded but eventually worked loose enough to spin with my finger tips. With the stock bumper removed I cleaned up the mounting surface and with my brother's help slide the EAG bumper into place. Super freaking easy, almost too easy, where's the catch? I laid on my back and ratcheted on the new bumper and that was it. The wobble extension had made the difference. The directions for the JJKFB001 were shoddy at best so I guessed but the mount holes lined up in places that made since. Gone was the rattling plastic factory skid plate. The install made a fantastic aesthetic on the front end. What I hadn't counted on was how amazing the high mounted fog lights would work. They're like a second set of headlights but focused on the peripheral.Overall, great experience with EAG and great bumper and skid plate from packaging to install to life on the Jeep.

Solid bumper for the price
I installed this bumper on my 2007 Wrangler Unlimited X almost two months ago now, and have no regrets so far.Easy to install and just required extending the wiring for one of the fog lights to make it work.Married up well with the 9,500 lbs. Smittybilt winch I installed too.The powder coating could be better, but for the price and being a rugged Jeep that actually gets use as they are intended to see, I've let it pass.A sad story to account for the construction: I live in Montana. Less than a month after installing it, I hit a deer for the first time in my life. We have A LOT of animals on and crossing every type of road out here. I was traveling down the interstate at 80 mph when it appeared seemingly out of nowhere. I'm very cognizant and hypervigilant to animals on the near roadways. There was no preventing this impact. It happened so fast I didn't even get the brake pedal depressed. Let's just say what happened to that poor deer is that she died instantly. Virtually no damage to the bumper or Jeep at all. Just a very small dent and paint chip where the one provided shackle that wasn't hooked into the winch cable hit the bumper itself from the impact. Don't know how the shock bumper would have fared, but doubtfully as well. Just glad I was in my Jeep and not my 2002 diesel Jetta--the deer and I would have been much worse off.Overall, I'm very pleased (just wish I would have gotten it at the current $295 vs. the $329 I paid).

Great value, thin finish
I stewed over buying a bumper for the better part of a year! For months I researched various bumper manufacturers, styles, specs, reviews, images, even asked total strangers with great looking JKUs. You name it, I probably did it when making my decision! I bounced back and forth between this Rock Crawler model and a Full Width Bumper. I also went back and forth on E-Autogrilles and Extreme Terrain. I finally landed on this bumper, and initially I am very happy with this decision. I know many, many reviews have reported flaking and rusting within the first year. I can see where this could be the case, and will watch for this carefully. But first, let me brag on this product, then I will list my concern(s).First, the bumper arrived ridiculously fast! Ordered on a Monday, shipped on a Tuesday, received on a Wednesday! But I am less than three hours from the product's origin scan. Many reviews reported that the box was in bad shape when they received it. Not the case here. One three inch rip in the cardboard. That was it! The bumper was wrapped within reason. I would have preferred to have seen some denser foam blocks of sorts on the corners of the bumper, but they had some 1/4 inch foam padding instead.Secondly, I read a plethora of reviews that said there were no instructions included with their bumper, but it was straightforward. I did receive instructions for installing the bumper! Even instructions for removing the OE bumper! Not only that... I got SWAG! A nice black ballcap, a badge for the bumper, and a cool LED USB light! The bumper was very easy for my buddy and I to install. I think one person could do it, but it was a lot of fun with two! Very straight forward! Very few tools needed! The only reason, ONLY REASON, I didn't give it five stars is the fact that the finish on this bumper (as mentioned in other reviews) is very, very thin! VERY THIN! My bumper arrived with one very small blemish. On the corner... the reason foam on the corners might be beneficial. In addition, while installing the shackle (one of which was very difficult) a small bit of finish came off in that process. The finish looks great! But it is just very thin! I can definitely see how flaking and rusting could occur. I will keep an eye on it and report back if anyone is interested. All in all, this is a great deal for the price. It is thinner material than some of the other higher end bumpers, but for the price... great deal! Like others have said, it is super easy to install. Some things I learned in this process that I'd like to share: 1. If you can, install the winch on the bumper before actually installing the bumper on the Jeep. I can see where that would be wise. 2. When re-installing the OE fog lights, make sure the drain hole in the light is down... oops!
