It works! Solved my F1 error code problem.
I have a Whirlpool WTW6600SW2 washing machine and the control board went on the fritz after a power surge. It was giving me an F1 error code all the time, and I could get the washing machine to work by jumping through some hoops and babysitting it, but it was a pain (and it was hard to explain how I got it to work, which meant my housesitter couldn't use it, and that's not great when a pet has an accident and towels need to be washed).I ordered this control board from Pandora's OEM Appliance parts - it was a refurbished part, and the order was fulfilled by Amazon. When I received it, it looked new and was securely packaged. I had my husband pull the washing machine away from the wall for me, and 20 minutes later I had this control board installed. I placed the new control board on top of the old, and simply unplugged one cord at a time and immediately plugged it into the matching spot on the new control board until they were all transferred, then removed the old control board. Ta-daaa. I ran a load of laundry and it worked! Woohoo! Ten loads of laundry later, and it still works!I put a heavy duty Tripp Lite surge protector on that outlet to hopefully protect against future power surges, to keep this control board safe. I'm very happy with the new (well, refurbished) control board from Pandora's OEM - it was an easy replacement for me to do and avoid a repair company's fees.

Good: - It fixed the error code - It ...
I have a Whirlpool wtw6400sw2 that developped the F1 error code.Good:- It fixed the error code- It changed the cycles somehow and seems to be quiter when filling the tub than before- It wasn't to much trouble to replace, as it's mounted on the top back of the machine. Did require an unusual screwdriver head to remove the old one and put on the new one.Bad:- Loads with large items (like lots of towels or a blanket) seem to get themselves made into a ball and bang the machine around (then the machine stops until you untangle the load) a lot more than before. It wasn't perfect before, but I just washed several blankets I use on my bed one at a time and every one of them tangled themselves up into a ball and started thunking the machine around partway through the cycle before the machine shut itself down. I did a max capacity load of towels and there seems to be more of the same thing with those to. I don't remember having this issue before to this extent.Bottom line - if your only issue is the F2 error code, this is probably worth it. If you have any other issues to fix on the washer it's probably best to buy a new machine.

Fixed what ailed it. Wished I hadn't been so tight and replaced it... maybe a year earlier
So the Cabrio has several SAME achille's heel in that it utilizes push non-soldered wire connections from the harnesses to the components. Big source of headaches. Next, the water level sensor is at the end of a clear plastic tube that the connecting end is submerged!. ummm fellers,,,, duh! I cannot count how many times I had to intercede and cancel-start-pause-start-pause the damn cycle at start and again at 21 minutes!!! Arrrgh. Anyway, this fixes it right outta the (sealed) package. Authentic with Whirlpool warranty sticker. Hope I NEVER need it. It works like new. Some phantom code 93 that was present before the first cycle, GONE! Sucks that it had to cost, sucks that it had to be replaced but IT WORKS NOW, JUST LIKE NEW.btw, I gutted a lawn mower plastic fuel filter and stuck a spare drying package from a camera in it and sealed it and placed it inline the water level tube so that it could always keep whatever precipitated up the tube AWAY from my precious sparkling new washer brain. This unit fixes ALL of the washers, no matter what brand.

not happy i had to buy it.
first thing if your looking at this theres a good chance your pos washer was recalled. what a recall? Well i was never informed either. whirpool let sears do the recall partly to save their face. so why didnt i get a recall notice, why didnt you? because it was a very shady recall that sears performed. if you didnt respond to a letter within xx days you were not eligable. yah i didnt get the letter either. just do a little research and you will find the recall. im not happy because i understand the business of service parts and recalls. i used to make them for gm and honda, alot more for gm. If you own a corvette or escalade you should probly stop driving it now and get a honda. any way there are no shortage of these control boards, sears can get you one next day. so what does that tell you? so why did i have to pay 180 bucks for a part that was still made in china that just had a different colored sticker on it? Just like any think else you buy today its not going to last and you have overpaid dearly. as for the control board it got rid of my f1 code now i have an overloaded code when i run it empty. which i doubt is the control board, either way if it doesnt fix it i will deiliver it to sears free of charge right threw the front glass. because im sick off messing with this. honestly dont buy this product, dont put any more money into the washer this fits, its a bandaid to brain cancer. go get a topload washer without an agatator that doesnt have a control board, believe it or not whirlpool makes one.

"F1" fault code resolved!
I obtained an older Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine when I bought my house recently. The washer would function, but I keep receiving an "F1" fault code, which meant that the control board was not properly sensing the water level in the tub. In order to do my laundry I would have to resume the cycle each time that I got the fault, which would occur during the initial fill and the rinse cycle. Each time this code would come up about a dozen times before it would continue on with the cycle. After watching some videos on the internet, I decided to go ahead an purchase this control board. The board arrived very quickly, within 2 days, even though the shipping information said that it would take a week for it to arrive. I installed the new board in about 15 minutes and it has completely resolved the "F1" issue. This was a simple fix that will extend the life of this unit until I am ready to invest in a new washer.

Good service, solved out problem
When our Kenmore Elite Oasis HE Top-Loading washer started stopping and showed F-1 errors, we found out it means the main control board is going bad. We ordered this from Virginia Service Supply through Amazon, and the part arrived quickly and was very easy to install. The F-1 errors went away, and our washer worked fine. Until 3 months later...it started stopping at the final spin with the uL code, which is unbalanced load. It was intermittent at first, and became 100% after a few days. We checked all of the physical parts...the drum suspension, the levelness of the machine, and everything looked good. No items below or around the drum. When the uL indicator comes up, the machine is very quiet and not shaking at all. We found it could be the rotation sensor or the main controller board. We contacted the seller and they asked a couple questions, and agreed to send a replacement. Even if this doesn't solve the problem, the seller was very helpful to agree to send a new control board. Now we just have to see if it fixes the problem or if we need to make more expensive repairs.

W10189966 Control Board for Whirlpool Cabrio Washer
Wife bought the Whirlpool Cabrio clothes washer, Model WTW6200SW2, in January 2008. Within a few weeks after the warranty expired, she started getting the infamous F1 error code. The Pause-Start sequence reset the machine, but the problem worsened to the point that every wash cycle required 20-25 resets to complete. Finally ordered the W10189966 board (which replaces the OEM W10112113) on 3/13/13. New board arrived from Carribbean Appliance Parts on 3/18/13, and I installed that day. No installation instructions or other part documentation was included; however, access to the old control board and installation were simple enough--as others have mentioned, a good you-tube video is available. The Cabrio is working flawlessly. Kudos to Carribbean for the prompt delivery. Primary reason the new board doesn't get 5 stars is that it hasn't been in service long enough to declare it thoroughly tested.

I am so proud that I bought this product. I have a Whirlpool Cabrio top load washer. I guess it had to many power surges. Anyway, It started not finishing any cycles on any wash settings or rinse settings. I would have to pause and restart at 4-7 times to do a load of laundry. Anyway, I looked up the manual for trouble shooting and figured out the part that I needed and found it on Amazon. I don't know if this part was refurbished or not but it worked perfectly. We had no problem installing it ourselves. I wash every week and have probably washed 20 plus loads since we put this part in and HAVE NOT HAD ANOTHER LICK OF TROUBLE. Thank you so much for having this part available, and so cheep too.

great!
The seller was quick getting this out and it was packed well. I hate this washing machine so taking a chance and fixing it was no big deal to me. Worst case scenario was I would buy a new washer. All of these maytag/whirlpool washers have this issue and the company is not what it once was. It was very easy to install and there are so so many video's showing you how. My machine was giving the F1 code and would stop in the middle of loads, if you got a load going that is. It now just has the button issue. A separate piece which I will not be getting because then it would be better to just buy a washer that is old school and no fancy crap that will break!Get a speed queen washer if your buying a new one. Otherwise all the washers are owned by two companies and they are crap.

New control board makes Cabrio like New.
My nine year old washer is like NEW again. Actually, better. Part came in two days. I followed the instructions from You Tube and installed it myself in twenty minutes. For several months we had to restart the machine three times in a row to get past the F1 error code and then restart it once in the rinse cycle. After reading the reviews on new washers and the cost of them, I decided it was best to take a chance and fix old reliable.Amazon had great reviews on this part so I ordered it and couldn't be more pleased. I have a 2007 Whirlpool Cabrio washer. This has been a wonderful machine and I hope I can get several more years use out of it wirh this new control board.

Works well so far after two years. Shame on whirlpool tho for having such an expensive computer controlling the washer where the original factory installed failed after five years. After using this controller we noticed the controls operate slightly differently. For example: in the case of Unbalanced Load we are no longer able to open the washer and rearrange things, as it keeps the lid locked and just refills the drum and tries to fix the load itself. This is annoying. I have "reengineered" things a little on my own, and have come up with a workaround though :)

F1 to F68 CODE! THIS PART HELPED FIX MY KENMORE ELITE OASIS WASHER!!!
Bought this washer part when my Kenmore elite Oasis HE washer started displaying a F1 code during a wash cycle. I looked it up and it was control board problem. My washer just kept filling up water but not spinning. I bought this part and the installation was not hard. There's three screws in the back of the board. Remove those three and life the board piece up and away. Theres only one screw that holds the control board down, remove that and unplug the 8 or 9 plugs and just change it out. overall it took about 20-30 minutes. I'm glad it wasn't a hard repair and helped save money to not have to hire a technician from Sears.

I have a Maytag Bravos! Same f1 error as in previous reviews on Whirlpool, Kenmore, etc! Looks like we were all taken on these models as they all had the same defective mother boards! This was easy to replace and so far has worked perfectly! Even though, as stated in previous reviews, restarting it several times at the beginning of wash and rinse cycle, the clothes were not getting clean and the inability to use the correct cycles after a year or so I opted to purchase this part. Saved $$$ buying it on Amazon. Sorry I waited so long...almost purchased a new washer until I found a great price here for this part and it works perfectly.

Whirlpool Cabrio Washer Control Board
This was a GREAT find to fix a washer that has had problems from very early on. There was a problem with the original board and the washer would get a false warning code, and stop the washer midway through the wash cycle. You have to stay withing ear-shot of the washer in order to restart it, and it would take several restarts to get it going again. Whirlpool knew about the problem, but would not recall the board, and you had to raise a stink with the repair guy before they would replace the board for free. This was an easy to do repair, just unplug all the connectors, and plug back into the new board within 20 minutes. My wife is SO happy to do a load of wash and not have to babysit the washer. It was taking 10 -12 times of hitting "cancel" then "start" EACH time you wanted to start the washer. :-/
