Bentley Bear’s Crystal Quest

A superb sequel to the ATARI arcade classic Crystal Castles.The game is a AAA 8-bit platformer with detailed and colourful flicker-free sprites, and excellent visual effects that are usually seen on 16-bit consoles such as parallax style layered backgrounds.The music and sfx are also excellent thanks to the Pokey audio chip.This game is a joy to play, and I highly recommend it to any retro gamer.Hopefully, ATARI will port the original Crystal Castles to the 7800 in the future.

It wouldn't work on my Atari 2600+ then I did the firmwire update on Atari age then it worked perfectly.

Decent enough platformer featuring the hero from the Crystal Castles game.It's a good little platformer with decent graphics and good use of the colour palette and sound.It won't though have Super Mario quaking in his boots.

This is a new game for the 7800! Made with modern knowledge of how to make a game look and sound amazing on the platform. This delivers a brilliant console platformer that would probably have been the biggest seller on the 7800 had it been released back in the day. There should be no hesitation picking this up, it's a lot of fun and we are very lucky to have this available.

this is a great game but .....dont expect to play it easily with any of atari controllersthe wireless controller atari sells is not good enough for this game ,i had to use a megadrive controller witha special adapter to work on the 2600+ to make this game playable ..you may not have a problem but i certainly did , i would still says its worth getting but you may need to pay out a bit more to get the best out of it
