I can see that this item has pulled a lot of reviews forward for the FULL SIZE EDITION - the full size edition is huge, weighs about 6kg and comes in a carry case.This item is the new edition they have bought out which features the same amazing content, but in a handable size.I actually have both - the full size display book and this smaller size edition which is much easier to handle for reading. It’s SUCH good value for money.Comparisons between the large and small edition:Large features:Carry case, embossed fabric cover, book mark ribbon, chapter dividing pages on textured Matt pages (and the scale of it is incredible)The smaller edition does not feature the above, but it does feature the same content and is about £100 cheaper and easier to store / read.In short - I’d you want a beautiful coffee table display book or have somewhere to read your big books - splash out and get the big one.If you just want to read the content and don’t have £135 to spend, get the compact edition.Or.... become a Disney book addict and get both!Photos included of both for scale!

It’s very big but wonderful

This is how my item arrived. Totally unacceptable.

The authors have masterfully compiled an immense volume that is stuffed with information and images, detailing the genesis and perseverance of what is more than just a corporate icon. I was impressed by how much one learns here about not just the original cartoons, but also the radio show, newspaper strip, comic books, video games, and even the most modern cartoons. Mickey Mouse publishing from around the world gets ample coverage as well, showing us that Mickey is truly a global phenomenon. With nearly 500 gigantic pages, I enjoyed many hours of fascinating reading and image gazing.

Immense livre par la taille et le poids, sur l'histoire de Mickey, englobant des détails et informations en abondance sur toute la vie de ce petit héros immortel, très belle qualité de l'édition (couleurs, papier), de quoi passer de nombreuses heures de retour vers l'enfance! Ravie d'avoir acheté ce très beau livre, il en vaut la peine pour tout amateur de Mickey!

Libro da collezione atomico, ti lascia senza fiato

Si eres fanático de Disney y en particular de Mickey debes de tener este libro.Es la Biblia de la evolución de un personaje y del merchandising.El diseño está hermoso y viene en una caja para cuidarlo y para cargarlo por que pesa muchísimo.

Este livro em comemoração aos noventa anos do Mickey é lindo. Ele é em inglês e tem bastante ilustrações dos quadrinhos antigos do Mickey, dos desenhos animados, esboços, etc. Ele é em formato gigante, do mesmo tamanho dos livros em comemoração dos 75 anos da DC e da Marvel. Eu tenho todos os 3. Também vem dentro de uma caixa muito bonita. É um livro lindo para se ter na estante, sua capa é muito bonita, dando um brilho amarelo, parece ser tecido, mas não tenho certeza, a imagem do Mickey é em relevo e feito de outro material. Compensa o preço. Item de colecionador.
