Hypafix Self Adhesive Dressing Retention Tape Thin (2.5cm x 10 Meter) Stretchable Non-Woven

As a sufferer of hand eczema i use this tape to tape up cuts on my hands allowing me to play golf and do DIY etc. It really sticks very well and easy enough to remove when needed.

I use this to help secure my feeding tube. The tape holds fairly strong but is also gentle on the skin.

Many of us already know how notoriously difficult, and infuriating the wider Hypafix is when curls in and sticks to itself before we get the chance of applying it to a bandage. But this slimmer 2.5cm / 1in adhesive retention tape makes our life so much easier. Now that a bandage is secured - then we can easily apply the wider tape.And that is the reason I bought it. Because it works.

Great stuff, stays on well reasonably easy to take off. With care will stay on when wet. Can sometimes be tricky getting the backing off. But best of all I haven't had any allergic reactions to it unlike other allegedly hypoallergenic dressings I have tried.

My mum is getting new self adhesive dressings applied by nurse to a leg wound twice a week, but usually the dressings start to peel back within a day. So I bought this tape, and also a more traditional fabric tape to tape down the edges. The fabric tape has been very poor, with little adhesion to the skin, again starting to peel off very quickly. But this Hypafix tape has been great, sticking very well, and mum says it's fine when it has to be peeled off too. I'm not sure it has much elasticity, if you're looking for that, but in terms of fixing a dressing in place it's been great.
