PERFECT
I have a toddler with feeding issues so she can't drink from straws too well. this is perfect, she doesn't spill the whole thing at once like she does with open cups. It's easy to clean, and fits roughly 1 capri sun. I can't speak on the straw as she doesn't use it. It is a bit big for her to hold in one hand (she's 2)

Nice weighted bottom.
This cup is nicely weighted at the bottom. The cover can fit multiple different cups, which is perfect when traveling or eating at a restaurant. The only drawback, is the straw is easily pulled out of the top.

Well made cup for learning toddlers
I chose this cup for my 2 year old daughter who is just starting to transition off of a sippy cup onto a straw cup. She's not quite safe enough to trust with open lid cups but can manage a straw well. I love the idea of this cup, as it transitions between covered straw cup to open rim cup with the removal of the silicone top. The silicone top could also be sipped from (kind of like a coffee cup). I really liked how the cup has measurements on it, knowing how much you're filling up the cup, or how much they drank from it. I also really like how the silicone lid can really be used for any cup, so even if my child outgrows this small plastic one, I can use another cup of similar width and place the lid on. My only dislike is that the cup is not recommended for dishwasher use, which is the biggest annoyance in a household that mostly uses the dishwasher. Other than that, I feel like the product is well made, well thought out and is a good size for little to medium hands to hold. It's not 'spill/ leak proof' so it will require supervision or monitoring, but for kids who you know won't drop the cup to the ground, it's a great fit!

Nice trainer cup! Recommended!
This is a nice trainer cup, especially for toddlers with feeding difficulties. The straw and cup both have ridges for more oral input. The cup is a solid heavy silicone at the bottom and a more flexible silicone at the top, making it easy for the toddler the mold the sip to their mouth. It is not leak-proof for travel, as my diaper bag got wet carrying it around (without tipping). The top is easy to stretch on, and it stays put nicely since the silicone on both top and bottom sort of stick together. Overall very happy with the product for at the table use.Adding after a few more days of use:If you press on the air release hole gently, you can control the flow of the liquid into the straw. This can be super helpful for a child who is adverse to learning how to drink out of a straw. In my experience, to find this feature, you have to buy an expensive product through a therapy resource center. This cup would do the trick perfectly! Highly recommend!!
