74 LED Okay Mounted Low
These 74 Cob lights are decent lights when mounted lower than 5ft but are likely not bright enough for some if mounted much higher up, opinions differ greatly of course and thats only mine? Easy setup, charge a day in the off mode, set switch to the setting you like and then mount because switch is on backside. Easy enough as two screws/two sided tape are provided! At the moment I have my 74 LED set mounted on each ends of our wooden Swing set about 7ft off the ground so at night we can keep an eye on Peter Nathaniel (Aka- Peter Nat our 12lb Border Terrier). Part of the yard is fenced in but we have Bobcats and Coyotes so we keep a close lookout for him. From the 7ft height these light up enough to see him but' I need something brighter to light up more area for sure. I certainly didn't want to blind him any so I bought these Cob versions for that reason. These lights don't seem to bother his eyes but simply don't light up an area well enough either, nothing like I'd hoped from their stated 600lm Lumens each light should have provided. I sure don't see near that here. Okay' so I'm not even close to being a light bulb expert folks nor do I have a Lumen tester but I do have an 800 lumen work light and its multiple times brighter than these put out. Albeit, its not a Cob design it has a single Cree LED bulb in it so its apples to oranges maybe but if lumens are lumens the actual output should be at least somewhat comparable, maybe Im wrong though? My Cree work light is nothing you'd want to catch a direct glimpse into, not even for a nanosecond and just what I tried to avoid buying. But' its advertised stating "New COB LED Technology, 2X Brighter than regular LED light" But the area "two" of these light up (1200lm total) are not even in the same realm of things next to my 800lm Cree work light. Its like a testing 40/100+ watt bulbs here folks it really is. The Good- I was very happy with the sensors on these lights. Sensors are good enough to sense Peter Nat as small as he is even from this height, no issues there whatsoever. Overall build quality seems good although I only had these in a couple light rains so far, no storms yet so only time will tell here? No issues so far outside of their missing lumens!! Nice enough lights, I'm keeping them but moving them to our steps because our step lights have had it and these are perfect for that, well if they last they're stairway perfect anyways? It appears much larger Cob lights may be what I need but idk yet? The Max light also advertised here is 1200lm so is the same as having 2 of these side by side and thats been tested and not enough. So' I'm afraid I'll have to seek further down the road for Peter Nat's light needs? I have 3 sets of stairs and a barn so I may buy another set of these yet as they are nice lights for the right place, Peace!

Small Size BIG LIGHT! Great no-hassle light for remote locations!
I bought some of these to light between storage containers, and the container door area in my yard. There were burgulary attempts under cover of darkness and I hoped these would help take away the “easy pickings” being over 300’ (100m) and further off my back patio. I had low expectations but based on reviews I did a trial purchase of 8 units (2 packs of 4).I had to install these and leave before seeing them in action. They have been out back close to six months. Today I arrived and immediately drove out back in down my corridor. WOW! They popped on clear and amazingly bright. The entire corridor of containers was illuminated as if by commercial street lights. My containers are 24’ (8m) apart, and almost 200’ long. With these lights at the corners roughly every 40-45’ on opposing sides I was AMAZED how well light it was. As I did a quick U-Turn two more popped on from the three containers along the back fence-that was well over the 26’ advertised detection distance which is FINE WITH ME! Walking between them and working under them taking locks off in what was before total darkness lit only with a mobile phone light is literally like night and day! My caretaker mentioned they were bright, and he’s right.I put them up quickly after it had rained, and the container metal was cold and in some cases somewhat dampish-but every one stuck firm and they’re still firmly adhered. There was quite a bit of rain so I’m confident these are up to stay! The only downside is I didn’t buy another two 4-Packs originally (just did that today) the only two places where I had burgulary damage or attempts to get into the containers are the “dead spots” where Zi didn’t place a light. Previous containers which thieves consistently tried to enter now show no more signs of tampering - I can only assume because they are now VERY well lit!I was looking at several thousand dollars to run power almost 450’ from the closest junction box in order to use conventional lighting. These saved me that cost, and I am seriously glad I gave them a try! As mentioned above I have ordered another 8 lights, and likely in a couple weeks I’ll order some more to ship overseas for my provincial bungalow in The Philippines. The ease of installation and brilliant white light are real plusses and not having to run wires and get inspections snd permits is a huge plus, in both my locations!<Update> I added some photos-the first and last photos are the same spot one with lights on, the other just before they were activated. The small light in the distance is a 50W LED on my back porch about 100m distant.

Bright Motion Lights
Nothing better than not having to wire lights than these all you need is sunlight. I've bought 3. Gave 4 stars because 1 works sometimes.

Very bright and activates as expected
Very nice product but it would be great if you had the option to extend the time of illumination further

On off on off battery dead
They work great except they go on and off on and off and the battery runs down real fast because they're going on and off on and off at every little motion detected if a tree branch blows it comes on if a leaf falls out of the tree it comes on if the cat walks by it comes onThe controls are on the back and it has two different settings one is continuous on and then when the motion is detected it brightens. The other is off and when motion detection it comes on full blast. There is a low beam and high beam per seonly issue is with that is once you screw it to the wall there's no way to access those buttons and change the setting without having to unscrew it and completely dismount it.also the instructions state to install it over 6 ft high or the motion detection will not work as well. So you have to break out the ladder and then that makes it more difficult as well and trying to find a place that's high enough for it to install it.but it is very bright and it works really good as long as the battery hasn't been ran down from going on and off so muchMiWilderness

Good motion light
Good motion light. I can detect small animals even at night. The brightness could be better. Should install where sunlight is available for at least couple of hours a day.

nice and bright
These are marvelous and love having them on shed and back of house. The only thing is there is no information about the battery to replace them or have on hand

Very bright
Very bright but too sensitive. They seem to get triggered on by anything and everything.

Great service, great lights
The lights are really bright and effective. So is the seller. I had a problem with one of the lights, I informed the seller and within a very reasonable period of time, two more of these lights showed up on my doorstep.Highly recommended product and highly recommended seller.

Great Lights!
These lights work very well and are nice and bright! I really like the feature of them being on dimly in the evening and they go brighter when motion is sensed.
