Actually the fingerprint scanner works perfectly on my Galaxy S/5 case. As far as the video is concerned, I agree 100%<10th p about how awesome this case is!! Forget buying and/or paying for an insurance policy that costs $15.a month.Purchase this case for the PCD you own!!(they make many diff models suited for just about any model of smartphone/PCD's on the market) This case will protect your phone from pretty much anything, ANYTHING that can ruin your phone this case will protect it!!. I will always buy Levin PCD protective products to defend and protect my investments from all that the world and/or its elements can throw at my personal comm devices. I owned the iphone5S 64gb & it never saw the atmosphere outside of its case so when I wiped its mem. back to factory default except for the new software upgrades I was able to get top dollar for it because having never using the e.buds or disturbing the contents of the retail box it came in before transfering it into a Levin case you couldnt even tell it had ever been used!!. I got paid $462.00 to use the PCD iPhone 5S for the 2 years I had it!! Now I own the iPhone 6plus 128gb wht/gold Mdl. that retails for $1000.&up and Im sure I will have not luck, but the same COMMON SENSE using a Levin protectant case to ensure(not insure) that I get all my money back when its time to sell the PCD's I have in Levin cases now! All personal comm devices should go from the retail boxes theyre sold in right into a Levin case!! A well built Levin designed PCD protectant case!! I highly recommend anyone reading my comment or watching the video posted to reviews/comments, buy one as well!! I gave this exact Levin PCD case/color to my daughter for the gift I bought for her 11th B-day present. (Samsung GalaxyS/5) I know and am confident that as long as that Galaxy S5 is in that Levin case, it will look just as it did the day fed/ex delivered both the Galaxy S/5 PCD and the Levin protectant case last week!!! If need help deciding which product you should buy that will protect a very expensive product that youve bought, look no further youve found it. In my well informed honest opinion gained from experiance I would tell you that you must purchase this product from Levin!! There are similar cases made by other companies that work equally as well but not for the price that Levin is giving these away for. Not only will you save yourself the time searching, the headaches comparing and the money (as much as $100.00) if you dont buy this Levin case NOW but youll be saving your expensive phone from any catastophic event! Believe me I know from past experiance just a little more than a week ago with another case Ive reviewed for the same model phone. And just please know that the negative reviews I see on here are due to a knock-off product that is being sold that says its made by LevinTM when in fact is is not. It is also not Prime and takes anywhere from three to six weeks to arrive since it is NOT a Levin TM product. When youve made your purchase just make sure before you pay to check that it is Prime/fullfilled by Amazon AND made/sold by LevinDirect to insure that your purchase doesnt get hijaked by the third party knock-off sellers. Then you will be one of the 5 star reviwers like those of us that actually got the real deal not the negative victims that got sold a cheap copy of the best case for the money out there. LEVIN ROCKS!!! BUY ONE!!!

I'm going to try to make this review as helpful as possible. First thing off the bat I liked this case because it has a slim fit and it get nice in my pocket plus the colors were really nice looking on it and sharp. After a week or so I lost the extraheadphone cover on it and they only send you two. The fingerprint scanner does not work and the plastic cover on the charging door thing has broken to an extent after a week. I had originally bought this case because I needed extra water protection and I swim. The phone is already waterproof and unless you plan to use this while hiking/camping/swimming I do not suggest getting a lifeproof case. This case all in all is fairly cheaply made and also feels very bubbly on the screen. The power and volume buttons are very hard to press because they are the same as the case material. In a overall review I would five this a 2.5 out of 5 because its not very great after a while. I would not recommend this product if someone had asked me about cheaper cases for a galaxy s5. DO NOT BUY THIS CASE

case has all the features I was looking for, needed a case to protect the phone from damage in a fall, I work on rail cars most of the day --- however the basic use as a phone is not as good using the case as opposed to not using the case -- in that hearing the other party speaking and also being heard by the other party, it is better ( but not like it should be )with the speaker on and there are times I wouldn't want anyone near by to hear the conversation or be distracted by my conversation ---- this was recommended by a co-workerupdate --I have started holding the phone differently when talking and it is making a difference in hearing the other person and them hearing me

I ordered 2 cases (one blue and one white) after my fiancé and I got galaxy s5 phones. Delivery was quick, packaging was decent and the products were as described. TEST YOUR CASES BEFORE GETTING NEAR WATER. There's an insert in there that says to test with a napkin inside as well... do it... My case leaked, the other did not. Contacted the seller and another case was promptly sent out. The second case I got did not leak. They work as described, no complaints, it keeps stuff out. It does take away some hearing capability of the person you are talking to... and the speaker is obviously not as loud as it would be, when not in case. What can you expect though? Does what it is supposed to. For that, l give 4 stars...

For all you skeptics out there, I have successfully used this product at an indoor water park. I sought out a waterproof case before our two day trip so that I could take pictures while we were there without worrying about damaging my phone. I was very, very nervous about having it in and around water...even with the case. I "tested" the case first by submerging it under water and leaving it for about 45 minutes TWICE. both time the paper towel inside remained dry. So I kept my phone in the case for out trip and it too stayed dry!! It withstood tons of splashing, water dumping and even the lazy river! I was both happy and impressed. As for people's complaints about the buttons being hard to push, it's really not that bad. It's to be expected to be a little harder given the type of case it is...and it's really not bad and all. But for the type of protection you are getting, well worth it! Would recommend! (Of course test yours first!!)

Update: the seller contacted me promptly after my review and took care of the issue so I am very pleased with the outcome.I really wish i could give this case 0 stars. The case comes with instructions on how to test the case to make sure that its water proof so i did what the instructions said and it seemed to have passed. I then placed my phone into the case and the top screw where the head phones jack is did not seal properly and the case leaked in water when i was counting on the case for it to do what it promised to do and it failed to deliver. maybe i got a faulty one.
