THIS WOK WAS RUSTY BEFORE I EVEN USED IT. TO THE REVIEW THAT STATES LITTLE UNDERSTANDING OF THE WOK RULES.THIS ITEM HAD NOT BEEN USED!!!!!! I opened up my wok the day after it arrived to use it, it was pitted with rust. I attempted to wash it off as I have ne6v in my life experienced anything like this from a brand new product. As you can see, it didn't come off. I washed in warm water in the hope the rust would come off, but it didn't. Contacted Amazon and the item is currently being returned. I have never returned an item in my life and it was such a shame because it felt like a good weight. I have multiple sclerosis and subsequently I have muscle weakness and fatigue, and this weight felt great. It is unfortunate that is was a defective item.

Good quality wok, just the right size for cooking for two people

It's small. But it does match the measurements it says. Great little wok. Handle is small, but you get used to that. It seasoned up really nicely. Never had any rust issues. It's a good functional little item and I've had more than my money's worth from it.

Unfortunately I had to throw mine away as it got really rusty even after I seasoned it in wok oil

This is really good .well made and deep .i would recommed it

Works very well, has seasoned up nicely and is a perfect size on our smallish cooker top, resting firmly and safely on my removable wok ring.One star deducted as the wooden portion of the handle is, to my mind, an inch or more too short and it is easy to get a burn on a finger after a longish session when you slip onto the steel off the wood.Cooks very well though, so don’t let that put you off it.

Handle is a little wobbly but not loose; metal is about the right thickness (as in thin) to heat up fast but not feel flimsy. As long as you know you're buying a steel pan that needs seasoning and a wipe not a wash after use you'll have no complaints. Anyone moaning it rusts and isn't non-stick doesn't understand it's a proper wok that needs seasoning and a little thought in use.
