Bought this as a birthday gift for my niece but we always test immediate family kids gifts as don't want to give them anything unsafe or rubbish. Quite pleased with this mat, perfect way for kids to practice drawing without wasting loads of paper (and having your fridge filled with the same drawing of a house ten times haha) bonus is it's mess free, no risk of paint etc going everywhere as worst that can happen is some spilt water. Pens last ages while not actually holding that much water so you're not even at risk of a minor flood, just seems really child safe. It's also really compact folds up into a smallish bag everything fits inside and can be stored anywhere for when you next want to use it!Really like the design as it's colourful with alphabet animals and numbers around the edge, bright an fun. Plus has numbers and letters on the drawing area to trace so feels a bit educational. Came with loads of accessories two felt tip type pens a thick and thin plus a brush type pen and loads of stencils and a roller. Found the stencils a bit naff but stamps and roller were really good once you got used to not wetting them too much as they're just a blurry mess if too wet. Water does bleed a bit so can't do lots of detail and starts to dry and fade quite quickly) it advises 3-10 minutes which I'd say is quite accurate) a bit of a shame as can't do proper pictures but probably better for kids as they won't run out of space when wanting to draw loads and will be fun for them to watch it disappear like sand drawings.My one concern is that it says not to wash it at all which is a bit of a problem with kids who might get body fluids etc on it but i presume it could be handwashed if necessary. Would be very expensive if it couldn't be washed at all but decent price assuming that it won't break after a gentle wash as it doesn't feel too flimsy.

Really lovely product, comes in a handy carry case, with lots of accessories. 3 pens, alphabet stencil, stamps and foam shapes to draw around. My 4 year old loves it, really helps with his cognitive skills and hand-eye coordination. The quality is good and good value for money too. Would recommend to parents for ther little ones!

My two year old twin boys really love the aqua mat and I thought they would be able to play with it for a long time, however sometimes the lightest touch of a pen leaves huge water stains so anything they’ve drawn gets ruined. It’s fine for their age now but as they get older I can see them not enjoying it as much as the quality isn’t that great.

This mattress gets used daily in our house, happy with the size and quality.This might sound patronizing, but I’ve seen reviews on here about the pens not working and wonder if people realise that the lids need to be twisted the OPPOSITE way of what you normally would, I think it’s done as a safety measure to stop kids opening the tops easily. The pens work well.

I bought this as both our daughters (as with most children) like drawing. This gives you that option but with an infinite number of chances to make various designs and be very creative as you're using a surface that can be used again and again... without any mess.This is the first review I have done where I have provided photos as I was very impressed with all the things you got for not much money.You get a bright branded storage case, and pencil case, stencils, a big drawing mat etc etc.The storage case is brilliant for taking everything with you to the grandparants or on a trip.The white are is actually a bright rainbow pattern as the kids draw on to it, and kids love rainbows so thats a winner.All in all I was very impressed with the sheer amount of things you got for not a lot on money. If you have kids then this will be a great buy either for them or as a present for someones elses children.

Nice idea, the mat is quite a good size and my 3 year old does enjoy playing with it. The pens are useless though, I can't even open one of them to put water in. They're too small and cheaply made and don't unscrew (I had to use my teeth to open one, so that one is dented, and the other I couldn't open at all). The stencils aren't big enough and are very basic so we haven't bothered using them. The stamps are ok but the pictures turn into blobs after a minute as they are quite small, and the water doesn't keep it's shape. Overall quite disappointed in the product. If better pens were included we'd give it a higher review score.*Edited and score reviewed* Excellent customer service. They noticed my review, contacted me and sorted the issues immediately. Purchased as present for a toddler. They are really enjoying playing with it. A couple of the plastic accessories had sharp barbs on them, but that was sorted with an emery board. Mat looks like it will last a while.

This is perfect after a hectic Christmas day to just sit and watch our little boys play together on this and have fun
