Keeps it simple!
I've started low carb diets a bunch of times and had trouble sticking with them. This book has really helped with getting some momentum by providing easy meal plans and prep - that way you're not caught flat footed on the go and...reaching for quick carbs. For me, just getting into the habit of eating low carb is the hard part. This was a nice resource to find alternative options to the mindless snacking choices, feel full and also not be bored with endless cottage cheese, sliced turkey, etc. I appreciate the variety in food options and ideas that would not have occurred to me as I stood staring into my fridge. It's the first time I've seen AI pictures in a cookbook, and I've got to say that real photos are much better. It's already difficult to recreate real photos of plates, so let's imagine AI pictures!The recipes are great but nothing too special or new, they are easy recipes for beginners which want to start with a low carb diet.The instructions are clear and well written.There are some errors with the pictures, some have been mixed up and some of the photos are missing.

great beginner's guide to high protein low card eating
This was a super helpful book. Tons of recipes, cute pictures, simple food. We've been working out more and enjoying the higher protein meals: even our daughter likes it. Found some of the recipes quite overly simple, but tasty nonetheless.

I don’t like extreme diets where you must cut out an entire food group. Low carbs is achievable and is sensible to me. This book helps explain the benefits of this flexible approach. The recipes are easy to follow and caters to a wide range of tastes.
