Mopha Diamond Drill Bit- 5 Piece- Grit Hole Saw Drill Bit Set for Porcelain Tile Granite Glass

Bought these to drill holes in plates to make tiered servers. I drilled holes with a drill press. I only used the 6mm bit. We drilled 10 holes (I think) with no problems. We had no cracks and the little plugs came out cleanly. The holes were smooth and not rough. We drilled holes in plates of different thickness. About half of them came from the thrift store. Three were nicer ones from an antique store, and three were pieces of my fine china set plus one tea cup. We used duct tape on the top and bottom when we were drilling. I was very pleased with these drill bits for the price. I would recommend and would purchase again.

Diamond coating only lasted through drilling one hole before the bit was trash. Much flimsier than i imagined they would be.

The 10mm bit worked great to drill in porcelain tile the 3 holes I needed to install an upright faucet.I also used the 6mm bit in an attempt to drill 4 holes in porcelain tile to secure a toilet flange. The bit failed after the 3rd hole; all the diamond was gone and I was left with just a ring of metal.I still needed to drill the 4th hole so I tried the next size down bit, and after just a couple of minutes it was just as bad as the 6mm bit.In conclusion I feel the larger bits work, but the smaller ones are useless.

Tried smaller bit on a porcelain tile. Didn't get anywhere. Had to but a different type. A carbide tipthat looks like an arrow, works best. Altho they are expensive. One drill costs almost twice whatthese cost. But worth it. I still gave it 2 stars because it just might work on ceramic tiles?

Works so well on ceramic tile. Regular masonry bits did not and I learned a lesson fast. These are a great price and work perfectly.

Order came with 3/5 bits. Missing the 4mm bit (The one I needed most) and 12mm.
