The best UFC it's back and better than ever
UFC Undisputed 3 is an absolutely great game. It may very well be the best fighting game on the market. It takes the best qualities from the first 2 games and combines them for the ultimate fighting experience. The accessibility of the first game is back as well as the great sound design. The controls from the 2nd game which some considered too complex have been simplified with a simple directional push on the sticks rather than a rotation. The original controls from the 2nd game can also be used for hardcore gamers. Production values are the best we have seen from the franchise by far even superior to EA's MMA title. The experience is viceral and realistic and many of the bugs and glitches which were present in the last game have been fixed or refined such as the ability to continue to pound your opponent after you have rocked them. This is the Ultimate fighting game undisputedly. Worthy to carry the name and great for any fan of fighting games. A must have game

Great for what it is.
I will keep this review brief and to the point but will hopefully cover everything you want to know before buying this game. The Good:The graphics and authenticity of the fighters, arenas, referees, commentators and brands make this a great game to look at. The controls for the most part are simple enough and are easy to pick up after a few tutorials. The fights can be very tense (especially against friends) and a good knock-out feels very rewarding. These can also be saved and replayed to show friends and you can even make your own clip of knock-outs. Through career, You can create a fighter or choose one from the roster, teach them moves and train attributes to suit your fighting style. You can then take the finished product online. Some may call it a bad point but the principle of quality over quantity when it comes to landed hits means the outcome of fights in close matches is truly unpredictable. The bad:Career is a typical career on a fighting-sport game such as Fight Night, Rocky etc. Start at the bottom and work your way up the ranks through the two training sessions then a fight system. It can become boring and repetitive but if you are training to take your fighter online, that will probably give you motivation to finish it. The new submission structure makes it very hard to win by submission but does make it more fair. Also the fighting can become fairly repetitive and seems too structured. As Fifa has tried to introduce the unpredictability factor to recent games (which has been done quite badly) the principle of it would be great in this if done right. For example, there are about 10 different animations in Fifa for a player to turn the ball around and shoot. This makes the game flow better and more realistic to watch. If the idea of this was introduced and executed well, it would have my 5 stars. In conclusion, If you enjoy the UFC or like a good game to play with friends to get you on the edge of your seat, this is it. There is almost no better feeling than your friend boasting how he's going to beat you then you shut him up with a spinning back-fist to the face.

a few issues...
i only bought this game a couple of days a go but these so far are the issues I am having with it:*incredibly long load times...*a terrible 'tap out system' that takes away from the feeling of the game and turns into some sort of arcade-y thing...*no 'open mode' for setting up fights!!! if you're a heavy weight you have to fight a heavy weight... now i know the rules have changed but i remember when the UFC was a free for all where skill was the ultimate decider. in terms of the the game play itself, if you have mates over and they want to create their own fighter then you're stuck unless all your friends are the same weight...*constantly connecting to the server - even if you're playing an exhibition match. why?! it slows it up!*the usual complaint; whether you have a kickboxer or a judoka you're not getting much difference in how they fight. that could be a comment on todays fighters but hey ho, a little more 'signature' moves for particular styles wouldn't go a miss...good features? well, i am enjoying it at the mo and i have yet to try out the various modes. the custom fighter section is pretty good. i am worried that the replay value is going to drop very quickly....

Enjoyable
This game is enjoyable but doesn't really have a long playing life in my opinion, then again I'm not a heavy gamer. My personal opinion on this game though is that you can play it for an hour, maybe two and then it loses all it's allure and sits waiting for months before you want to pick it up again.

I bought this for my son and was very disappointed with it
I bought this for my son and was very disappointed with it. From day one it never worked properly, it would get to a stage in the game where it would freeze and it would not move from there. Needless to say I was not happy but what was worse was my son was extremely disappointed as he was really looking forward to playing it. I had and still have one very unhappy son because of it. It cost me €35 which is alot to us, so I now feel like it was money down the drain.

Best MMA game out there
The funnest game in MMA history. Great career mode options, with Pride, WEC and the UFC. Amazing graphics, and realistic fighting motions with realistic knockouts etc.
