Wonderful, well-made, versatile coffee-maker
I love my new coffee maker! I was a reluctant convert to single-cup coffee makers when my kids got me one for Christmas about 8 years ago. It was convenient, though, and once I found the gadgets you could use with real coffee I got used to it and even replaced it several times when they leaked and simply quit. However, when the last one died I was fed up and went looking for something different. The Ninja is great, smaller, brighter looking, bigger water reservoir, more versatile AND it makes great coffee! It takes both pods or ground coffee and supports a wide variety of cup sizes with a handy cup platform that moves up to keep the cup close to the nozzle and reduce splashing. I even like the little storage thingy in the base to keep the carrier and nozzle cleaner neatly stored. I've tried all the features and different coffee drinks (including an espresso-style one) now and love it! Very good price, too. I highly recommend it. One other thing, I recently got some small filters that fit the ground coffee permanent filter and they work beautifully. Best coffee I've made at home in years. Worth getting!

Fantastic coffee!!
My significant other and I absolutely love our new coffee maker. I have always bought Keurig and upgraded as the years went on. The descale light would come on, I'd run the cycle with the solution cleaner and the light would never turn off. We are super happy with this purchase. We brew 4-5 cups daily and so far all is good. The different size options are great, the use of pods or grounds is amazing, and the cleaning process is a breeze! Once the clean light comes on, simply use 16 oz of vinegar, fill with water to the max line, and run the cycle. Easy and low maintenance. Highly recommend! And cheaper than the fancy Keurigs too. Ninja is the way to go!

Makes a great cup and IMO works better than the Keurig
I have had multiple Keurigs over the past many years, some very high end ones to the new multi-stream. They all started out good, then end up working poorly and eventually breaking with no clear way on how to fix them. I almost went back to a drip maker because I was fed up with the keurigs. Instead, I did some research and with all the reviews, decided to try this Ninja maker and dang am I impressed.First off it is much more visually appealing than any of the Keurigs, the water tank holds plenty of water so you don't have to refill constantly. The construction of the thing is very well done, super solid device. The lid and the water tank are very tight, and even though it only uses one hole to punch the K-cup, the coffee is super rich and flavorful, IMO much better than the Keurig models. I like a dark cup and the classic drip is perfect for daily drinking. The strong setting gets the job done when you really need a heavy cup of joe. For the electronics and settings, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the fact that it remembers your last setting (so does the new Keurig multi stream) but you do NOT have to open the lid or push the power button to cycle the system to complete a tall cup. Just push the brew button again and off it goes, no fuss. It is also a semi-always on tech, meaning, you don't have to wait for the water to heat before it starts brewing. The mini grounds brew also does an almost perfect job, however, I have only used this twice just to say I had.The internal storage container is a plus since you don't have to use a drawer in your kitchen to store parts for the Ninja. I almost wish I had bought the frother version, just because I like accessories and it looks really cool. The price was great, keep a look out for sales. I think I got this one for under $100 which you most certainly cannot do if you go Keurig.Overall, I am soooo happy with this product. I recommend it to everyone I knowHope you enjoy your next cup ☕

READ CAREFULLY!
***Update 4/20/2025- Machine still going and working properly. I use it 2-3 days a week (when coffee shop is closed)THIS IS NOT AN EXPRESSO MACHINE.What I've discovered:Coffee isn't as hot as I like it- Make sure to let the machine sit for a few mins before brewing or run a 6oz of water thru. if I don't want to wait, I just heat up my cream in the microwave. I brew ground coffee on rich setting at 14oz, and it is quick and does brew a nice cup (if using good coffee) the coffee itself makes a difference. It is easy to clean BUT you need to clean it every time IF you're using pods that contain milk. If you're just running regular coffee/pods, then I clean once a week.Water tank size- I'm the only one in the house that uses it, so it's fine. If you have more than 2 ppl using, then it might be too small, and you may need to refill often. I use tap water (well water with softener) and have not had an issue.Froth vs no froth- The universe was looking out for me. If I had the model with the froth wand I don't think I would use it.Do I recommend?-looking for a budget friendly single serve coffee maker then YES. I don't regret my purchase.-Looking for an expresso machine instead of going to coffee shop. NO keep shopping this is not for you.I deducted 1 star just because it's not as hot as I would like and you can't adjust the temp. but overall, it's a really good machine and I really love the storage it has!***THE END**I picked the stone-colored coffee maker, and it DOES NOT have a froth function like the other colors!I'm okay with it because it was not a selling point for me. They sent me the PB041 I thought I ordered the PB051. SO again, just pay attention before you check out!On the other hand, this thing is beautiful! Has storage for all of its components! I will update my review once I use it... I literally just unboxed it!::Same day update!:: I'm absolutely in love with this coffee maker! There is trial and error to get your preferred ratio of flavor but that is true for any new coffee maker. 5 stars!
