I'm writing this review to let other future customers know about this product because like me I was a bit skeptical about purchasing it. First I would like to make a comment about the software for the device. I appreciate how well the software is laid out and extremely easy to use especially for someone who has not used a Bluetooth scan tool before. So for beginners using this product there is no need to question how to use the program and tool. The way the app is set up you are able to find and do everything easily because of how simple and straightforward the controls are. On to the next subject. With this tool you have the capability of selecting 3 vehicles at a time to record your data for personal records. What I love about it, is that the app gives you a status of your vehicle depending on various codes that it comes up with for your vehicle. If you have more than three vehicles you are able to delete one or two or all of them and add more. But currently it keeps data for the three most current vehicles that you do a status check on. Using the app it has some very nice features. What I really enjoyed was the performance test. It will show you data like 0-60 times and what your horsepower is at. That's alot of fun. I found that the battery test function is very useful when it comes to checking the quality of your battery, they did a very good job at giving you an accurate reading of your battery status. Using the HUD function was pretty interesting as I have used it for the first time with my vehicle. The program runs very nicely and pretty cool to use. Connecting to the Bluetooth receiver after opening up the app was a no brainer and I had zero issues with using the device and app. The speed of the app moved pretty quickly but I'm sure that's phone dependent, but on my end I was never frustrated at the times that it took to scan the vehicle. The app has a live data option for various computers in the vehicle. On that subject I will say some parameters I was not able to see, but that could be dependent on vehicle. The bottom line is that if you want a very good scan tool that you're able use easily and have some fun functions along the way I'd highly suggest this product.

This was a lot better than I expected! It connects to vehicles almost as fast as my professional scanners, app interface is very user friendly, vehicle reports look very professional, and the functionality is more than I could ever need at home. It’s amazing in what it can do at this price point. The only thing keeping me from using it in a professional setting is only being able to select three manufacturers for it to work with. That’s a slight bummer but doesn’t matter at all for at home use.

I have to say I'm quite impressed with this scanner. It came in a very nice package, and the unit itself seems to be great quality. I enjoy the app too, it's intuitive and easy to navigate. I only have older Volvos and was pleasantly surprised to find that this unit not only scans ECU, but it scans all the systems! It also has the ability to reset service lights too. It can read live data as well, just wish it had a option for gauge style read outs. Very nice product especially for the price point, I don't think you can beat it!

Excelente lector OBD2. La conexión por Bluetooth es rápida y estable, y la aplicación es muy intuitiva incluso para quienes no tienen mucha experiencia en diagnosis. Detecta los fallos al instante, permite borrar errores y ver datos en tiempo real sin problemas. Lo he probado en varios coches y ha funcionado perfectamente en todos. Es muy cómodo al ser pequeño y no llevar cables, ideal para llevarlo siempre en el coche. La calidad de los materiales se nota y la app ofrece bastante información útil. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Recomendable tanto para usuarios particulares como para quien quiera una diagnosis básica y fiable sin gastar mucho.

Werkt wel goed. Beperkte mogelijkheden. Lang en vaak langzaam downloaden van data voordat voertuig uit kan lezen en resetten. Dpf reset en regen mogelijk. Een jaar ondersteuning voor 3 voertuigen dan opnieuw betalen. Ik zou voor mijn 1.5 hdi meer uit willen/moeten lezen en zal iets anders kopen.

Having experienced a few faults with my aging Ford Focus - blinking warning lights all over the display console - I was struggling to keep my cool; one day, it was the yellow MIL warning, next day it was a 'Transmission Failure' and the next day it was battery indication showing failure. Faced with the prospect of taking the car to a dealer and paying up to £100 for an analytical scan, I decided to plug in the new Topdon OB2 Tester. Simple to use - a delight to use, actually - it booted up from the get-go, told me what the faults were, and cleared all the fault codes, with ample aplomb. I'm not too technical-minded, but the Topdon had so much information built-into its system that it's a gizmo you can use straight from the box. It's so impressive for numpties like me, and the information it relayed as to the state of the car's systems was displayed in a suitably understandable and user-friendly manner. There's just too much for me to go into detail, but I guess most users will use it for OBD Fault Code identification and clearance - and the Topdon does a fantastic job at both. There's so much more: data regarding your own car that you can download and read; maintenance help and suggestions; and a whole plethora of related info that is specific to your car - right down to the VIN number. Sure, an information leaflet comes with the Topdon, but to be honest, guys (and gals) you won't need it; just plug and play. The Focus, cured of all Code Faults, ran for another week or so, then started displaying flashing lights again; narrowing down the cause, I suspected the soldered joints at back of the display unit were compromised (a common Focus glitch) and, sure enough, after re-soldering the offending items, it was back to normal again. But the Topdon again earned its stripes by clearing remaining Fault Codes caused by the glitch. It's as small as a cigarette packet, as light as a feather, and fits in your glovebox, pocket, wherever. Take it with you, fix your car's faults without paying exorbitant garage fees, and never look back. Foolproof, essential, and up to the usual Topdon quality standards - which I swear by. This tool, worth its weight in gold, and a lifesaver if you ever get stuck out in the countryside with a Fault Code, should be part of everyman's tool kit. It talks to a mobile phone or laptop, using Bluetooth, so the information is clearly readable and acted upon, and I would give this tool a 5/5 score for quality, usefulness and instantaneous results. Get one, you won't regret it. Giving it a high score is easy enough, as such Topdon products seem to be perfection in what they do. Quality: 10/10 Usefulness: 10/10 Handiness: 10/10

Ho acquistato questo apparecchio,perchè volevo controllare la mia auto da solo senza dover andare subito dal meccanico ogni volta che si accendeva una spia.E' un piccolo strumento che si collega alla presa OBD2 dell'auto(quella sotto al volante)e funziona via Bluetooth,direttamente con il telefono.Basta scaricare l'app e si usa in modo semplice. E' compatibile con la maggior parte delle auto benzina o diesel dal 2001 in poi.Io lo uso anche su altre auto in famiglia,perchè permette di collegarlo a 3 marche diverse. Appena connesso,faccio una scansione completa e mi dice subito se c'è qualcosa che non va.Legge e cancella i codici di errore,mostra i dati in tempo reale,e posso anche vedere se l'auto passa il test delle emissioni(smog check)o quanto ci mette ad arrivare da 0 a 100km/h. Ha anche 6 funzioni di reset che tornano utili,tipo per: _cambio olio _sensori pressione gomme(TPMS) _freno elettronico _batteria _pedale acceleratore _filtro artiparticolato Anche se non sono un esperto,l'app mi spiega bene cosa significano i codici e mi aiuta a capire se posso risolvere da solo o se è meglio andare in officina. Secondo me è uno strumento comodo,semplice da usare e utile per chi vuole tenere sotto controllo la propria auto senza spendere troppo. Es ist eine sinnvolle Investition, besonders für diejenigen, die gerne selbst kleine Reparaturen am Auto durchführen möchten. Außerdem spart man sich die teuren Diagnosekosten in der Werkstatt. Ich habe ihn an meinen Ford Kuga MK2 ausprobiert un funkzioniert ohne probleme. • Nachteil, naja, wenn man es so sagen kann, das erste Download fur denn auto hat ubertrieben lange gedauert uber 30 min, was das nicht wirklich schlimm ist weil man es ja nur einmall machen mus . Fazit: Der Topdon OBD2-Scanner ist ein ausgezeichnetes Werkzeug, das in keiner Garage fehlen sollte. Für den Preis bekommt man ein robustes, zuverlässiges Gerät mit vielen nützlichen Funktionen.
