Ease of use
Great idea for the four corners lock down. My old box the lid would always come off.

Good design and easy to use.
I liked the quality of the pond filter box. The top snaps into place securely with 2 easy-to-use fasteners.

Filtering it clean.
Excellent pool filter to get your pond clear. Just added this to my pond along with my pump and water fall and i was able to get things clear and good to go. You do need to provide your own pump and tubing but otherwise the filter itself works good.

A pretty good filter box
Quality, so far, appears to be very good. The hole fit the top of the ECO-Worthy 25 Watt solar pump spot on. It has a few cable routing places and comes with some decent bio balls. However, I will take one star off for not providing more balls -- what they give is absolutely not enough and I ended up buying more separately.

I can't really tell if this is working for my little pond
I was surprised to see there were no instructions included at all, this is my first experience with a filter box so I didn't even know which filter pad went on first, I had to look at the product photos to figure out how to set it up. I don't know what size pond this is best for, or how powerful the pump has to be, it just says "compatible with multi pumps" and "designed to meet a wide range of needs" and mentions solar pumps, but not how many GPH etc. When I went back to look at the product page for more information, I realized that maybe the purpose is more to protect the pump than to filter the water to leave it cleaner and clearer? But it shows that as a benefit too, so maybe. I have a small self contained rigid pond form that holds maybe 50 gallons, and I use a small solar fountain pump to keep the water moving, so I wanted to add this filter box to help keep the water looking cleaner (I also use bio tabs). Honestly, I haven't noticed any difference in the appearance of the water. However, when I opened it to clean it the water contained in the box was noticeably murkier than the water in the tank, so it must be doing some good. The construction seems good, a strong rigid plastic box with snug latches, no issues there. The blue tabs are visible and unattractive in such a small pond like I have, I placed a couple of plants and river rocks to help camouflage it. Overall, I'm just not that impressed so far, but it sounds like a lot of other reviewers have had good success with it, and this may just be a case of "it's a good filter for someone, just not me" and my particular pond and needs.

Needs More Bio-Balls
This is a great filter. It does clean the pond very well and very efficiently. The filters are very easy to remove as well as clean. There are bio balls within and I would need more just to make sure that I get the full effect of what my pond requires for good bacteria to thrive. Other than that, the housing is pretty solid and holds everything well within. The locks on the four corners are pretty solid as well. It snaps into place and will not undo itself at all. Overall, it's a great filter to have especially if you have medium sized ponds that are about 10'x10'. It will do the job very well. It's well worth it especially when it's easy to clean. The only thing you'll need for this to work with your pumps is just an adaptor that sleeves into the top hole. Once you've figured it out, this will work for you for a very long time.
