Scale is quite nice. It comes in a nice hard plastic case and then also in a rubber coated zippered case. Zipper doesn't seem like very high quality and I can foresee it failing. Latch on the hard plastic case doesn't really latch into place. Buttons are a nice soft touch with is a nice addition. Scale is wicked accurate. I have never used 1 this accurate before. It is recommended to calibrate the scale before every use. It comes with a 50 gram weight for calibrating. Inside the hard case it has some instructions printed on the lid. This is nice for referring back to without getting the manual out. As I write this, the price is $13.99. Without looking at other scales, I think this would be a pretty good value. It is nice and accurate and for $14 a person probably can't go wrong.

This comes in a nice zipper clamshell, with included USB power cable and screwdriver. I would make sure to use the case, because the actual latch for the scale is a little loose. It's much better than those "living hinges" made out of a single piece of plastic, but I worry it may fall open inside your backpack.The scale seems accurate at first. It tares on power up. But I have found that it tends to drift over many measurements. For example, the 50g weight started at 50.00, but then went to 50.10, 50.12, 50.16, etc. Just make sure to re-tare often. This only seemed to happen when I was using the batteries. If it was powered with the USB cable, everything worked perfectly.

I can't help but laugh that the name of this scale is "Perphin" and it boasts that it is "smell proof" lol. Personally, I am using this for measuring jesmonite powder for crafting and it works great for that purpose. It's easy to use as well as switch units of measurement. Sometimes I need ounces and sometimes I need grams depending on the specific material. It tares automatically and is quite precise. Display is easy to read and I love that it is nice and compact and has the protective case to keep it safe from glitter and other craft mess. It's much more convenient than using my bulky kitchen scale.

The Topweigh scale delivers on being compact, affordable, and most importantly precise. I was impressed with how simple and easy it is to use this scale. The scale requires power from either 2 AAA batteries or plug in power from a USB cable, both of which are provided. Turn on the scale with a press of the power button. On first (every) use, the guide recommends calibrating the scale with the 50g weight, also provided. Afterwards, the scale consistently displays 50.00 grams. Two other things I really like about this scale is that the display is backlight and has large easy to read numbers. Finally, this scale comes with a handy carrying case to keep it protected when not in use.

While you can’t weigh anything over 200g (less than 1/2 lb), it’s very accurate for small things.Since it’s not mentioned in the product details, I can confirm that this is made in China.This is a great little scale that I can surely recommend.
