Sidekick Filter Replacement Cartridges

These are great for most urban areas and probably most mountain streams. These filtr out a lot of bad stuff, but they are not intended to filter out most viruses. Which is less of a problem in the U.S. compared to other countries. Water purifiers go the extra mile and often purify to 0.01 or 0.02 microns. Neither a water filter or purifier are 100%. I prefer to place a cloth or coffee filter over the contaminated end to filter out solids or debris. Keep it in a Ziplock bag so it doesn't contaminate anything within the pouch you are storing it in.
