OHY XVX MAX Profile Translucent Shine-Through Keycaps, 136-Key PBT Keycaps with Crescent Moonlight Design for 75% Mechanical Keyboards (Black & Red Custom Jelly Style)

The profile was supposed to be just cherry but it was cherry, XDA, DSA, SA mix into 1. I even contacted the company, to see if they would fix their mistake. They told me I can keep them or try to return them. Their are cheaper and better options.

The buttons look great and glow with the keyboard.

These keycaps are weird. At first they look interesting, but they're not exactly comfortable to type on, with the inset rim. Then there's the added issue that the lettering is printed on, which means in darker lighting and backlit, they can be very hard to read. This is compounded by the color lighting available from any keyboard they're installed on, as these keycaps are colored as well.Installing them is easy, and they have the proper profile and slope, and fit a wide variety of mechanical keyboards; but in the end their odd design takes away from the functioning of any keyboard they're installed on.

I got the shine through PBT keycaps to jazz up my keyboard a little. My keyboard is backlit, so I figured, why not give it a try?Looks: The cat eye and shine through look really cool. It does make it a bit hard to read at times.Feel: I started by replacing my entire set of caps. The keys were just too slick for me when gaming. I swapped back out my main keys and kept some of the shine through caps as accents. I am not a fan of slick keys. They also have a slight ridge/bump around the edge of the shine through area.Overall, they look great. I wish they felt a little better.

besides being too loose they are inordinately fragile. did not last two weeks with very light use.this is rather upsetting as they are quite pretty.

These keycaps are quite attractive, and I don't think I've ever seen any that transmit this much light from the RGB beneath them. They are not fully transparent, so it's not like you can see bald switches or bare LEDs, it just spreads it out like a flashlight lens without diminishing the light much. I suppose that if your keyboard isn't dimmable and you prefer less light, that could be a downside, but if you want a striking appearance even in daylight hours, then it's surely a plus. Pictures of these really don't do the effect justice, I'm not sure why, but they look better to the eye than the camera lens. Other than that, they've got good easy to read markings and feel, you know, like plastic keyboard keys. They don't have any weird or annoying shapes to them, but there's nothing that really stands out as exceptional about the texture or anything either, just normal-feeling keyboard that looks nice.

I had high hopes for these keycaps, but they fell short in several areas. Firstly, they are not cherry profile and have almost completely flat top, which isn't what I was expecting. They aren't double-shot PBT, either. The icons are screen printed on top, and they flake off easily, which is disappointing. The print is very hard to see when lit up. I took a picture to compare.The shine-through effect is subpar due to a lack of diffusion, resulting in a rather unattractive appearance. Additionally, the function keys lack icons for media control or anything else, which feels outdated.Overall, these keycaps did not meet my expectations, and I can't recommend them based on my experience. Legibility is very important and these do not meet those standards. Maybe another style would be better, but these are not great.
