The Kibble-a-tron 4000 Feline Nutrition Distribution Unit has transformed our cats’ lives. No longer do they have to yell incessantly for two hours before every meal - just as those hunger pangs start to strike, the kibble-a-tron delivers a decent-sized portion of life-giving snack, and starvation is staved off for a few more precious minutes. We run this on the mains so I can’t speak to battery life, but knowing that there is backup power in case the power goes out is reassuring. The device looks good, and I like the addition of a moisture absorption thingy in the lid. Picky cats may not like the metal bowls, but we replaced them with a couple of ceramic bowls after raising the machine up with screws in its legs. Paw-proof catches on the round off a really effective device that we - and our cats - wish we’d bought ages ago. Finally, be reassured that this device does not require or use an internet connection.

I wish I had bought this sooner! Works exactly as described, easy to assemble and feels a good quality. Very simple to set up the dispensing times and quantities. The stainless steel bowls removed easily for cleaning and barely any noise when dispensing kibble.

An exceptional piece of equipment.. Very beneficial especially if your cats are left alone for some time.. Do read the leaflet in detail and follow the directions how to fill the food container, set the timer for release of the food etc. An excellent piece.. definitely worth purchasing..

So far (3 days in ) this is working as it should. It has ample food capacity and all functions act as they should. The recorded message works well. It does give more food than I thought but it distributes evenly between the two bowls and on the lowest setting gives the amount I want it to. I haven't used the fail safe battery function yet. Hopefully this will prove to be an excellent purchase over time.

Great for my two cats - they have managed to choose a side each and mostly stick to it. My older cat was used to being fed via a single feeder that turned round so took her and the new cat a while to get used to but now they know the noise it’s great. No more 5am wake ups from the new cat!! Battery life has been good so far - been using it for a couple of months now and still going strong. The bowls are easy to clean and you can buy spares too which I have done. It’s fairly easy to clean and it’s pretty sturdy. It’s been moved around the house a few times now to try and find the optimal placement. Its functions are good. You can set a large number of dispensing but I currently only have 2 set up as they get their evening wet food from us manually.

I’m super impressed with this automatic cat feeder! One of my top priorities was ensuring each of my cats had their own bowl, and this design works perfectly for that. The setup process was straightforward, and I had it up and running in no time. The food storage compartment is secure, giving me peace of mind that the food stays fresh and safe. I really appreciate that it has both a mains cable and a battery backup. Due to the layout of our kitchen, using the mains isn’t ideal, but the battery option works perfectly. I’ll be keeping an eye on battery life, but since the feeder requires minimal power, I’m hopeful they’ll last a reasonable amount of time. Portion control took a little trial and error to get just right, but we’ve now found the perfect settings for our cats’ needs. Overall, this feeder has been a fantastic addition to my home, making mealtimes much easier and more convenient for both me and my cats. Highly recommend!

Love this product. Easy to use. capacity is enough to not refill very often. Powered to mains so always powered but even sometimes when there is accidentally no power it can run on battery.

Perfect and easy to set up

Cela fait un mois qu'il est en fonction et tout va bien. Au début, j'ai un peu surdosé car il est possible de mettre 36 doses mais 18 doses remplissent déjà bien les gamelles. Pour mes chats 4 doses 2 fois par jour suffisent et j'ai une autonomie de plus de 3 semaines. Il est aussi difficile de retirer les gamelles en inox et j'ai ajouté un tout petit bout de ruban adhesif pour le faire plus facilement. Sinon, c'est un très bon appareil. Attention, la prise du petit trasfo n'est pas EU. Un transfo de base suffit car le cable est USB.

I REALLY like this feeder! It is the first auto feeder I have purchased. We live in the country and found a momma cat and 4 kittens on our front porch recently. She was pretty frail, so we started putting food out for her and the kittens and it was well received. We were going to be traveling for a week, so I went looking for a feeder. I consciously had raccoons on the brain when I was shopping. I was looking for one with a shape that I could have a shot at somehow securing. This one has a nice flat top and I envisioned being able to place something heavy'ish on it. I was right. I imagined that I would have a decent chance of beating the raccoons. I was wrong. The first night, I placed a small weight on it to test the waters. Came out the next morning and found the feeder about 3 feet from where I had placed it. It was on its side and in several pieces (not broke, just disassembled... much of the product is held together by gravity). The next night, I placed a 16x8x2 inch concrete patio paver on top of it. It weighed in at just over 16.5 pounds. The feeder certainly wasn't designed with this in mind, but it held up like a champ. The feeder was up against a wall, so the front and two sides were exposed. My greatest regret was that I placed all of this directly under my security camera, out of its line of sight. I came out the next morning and again found it laid over and in pieces with the patio stone on the ground where the feeder previously was. The security footage showed a raccoon come up and was evidently there for 15-20 mins then left. A little later it came back with a friend to finish the job. We were leaving that day so I hung my head in defeat and let the neighbor take care of the cats. I'm certain that I can up with a better challenge for the raccoons, but I haven't tried yet. To this feeder's credit though, it took a beating those two nights and survived with only a few scuffs on the face where they were evidently dragging it across the porch. Still works perfectly. Also to the feeder's credit, it has a VERY flexible feeding schedule which was easy to set up. My original plan was to feed 3 or 4 times during the day and try to limit what food was left in the bowls overnight to maybe limit what was attracted to it. That attraction portion of that sentence was just dumb thinking on my part. The scheduling part worked perfect though. As I was putting it together the first time (super easy) I actually caught myself thinking "oh, that's a smart way to design that..." I don't do that often. It really is a neat design overall. I can vouch that comes apart and cleans very easy if you find it covered in racoon drool. I was able to plug it in, but it has a nice battery backup for peace of mind. In came into this purchase knowing that I was going to be asking something of it that in no way it was advertised to do. It met every expectation, was easy to use, holds a ton of food, is easy to clean and is very robust. 5 stars from me.

Best product, easy to use, being able to set so many feeding times allows the cats to have fresh biscuits every meal. Perfect for those little fur babies that wake you at 2am because they are hungry . A must have in any cat house.

Have had this for almost a year Still works Great! We plug it into the wall and don't use the battery function. All 3 of my cats love this and saves us the time of having to fill food bowls all the time. The settings are easy to use. Holds a full bag of cat food inside. Not super loud either. I really like how you can set a schedule. That stays consistent. While also being able to add more or less if needed. Ideal for 2 or more cats!
