Big crease in the cover
Obviously this book has been cresed ( the cover looks like it's been bent backward) BEFORE it was put into the envelope. I've been sent what ammounts to a dmaged item. Please let me know how much will be offered as a refund to compensate.

Sam - a brilliant writer, an amazing mind
Sam - a brilliant writer, an amazing mind, exquisitely gifted with words…tender heart, kind spirit, masterful sense of humor, and raw, vulnerable honesty. Johnny – an intriguing writer of his own, most compassionate friend and stoic caregiver to his wife. An intimate glimpse into the rare kind of friendship between two men…despite their lives taking very different turns, they remained friends and trusted confidants…that is one of life’s greatest gifts. This book reads like you are sitting right there with them, privileged to listen in on their conversations, thoughts, dilemmas and longings…heartbreaking, passionate and at times incredibly funny. The best part? You are there, because you are invited. Two unusual men, courageous enough to reveal the vulnerability of their hearts thru this beautiful, one of a kind, unconditional friendship.

Kindle Version: Illegible
Beware: I tried to purchase the Kindle version of this book, which makes text appear in an image format (every page of the book was scanned, as opposed to transformed into text format). As a result the text is minuscule and impossible to read.

Just finished reading and absolutely loved this work
Just finished reading and absolutely loved this work. I am so thankful that it was finally published. It's interesting, insightful, funny, and gives a window into an enduring friendship of two people that lead very full and interesting lives. It has the contrast between the wandering "everyman," haunted by demons from the past, constantly seeking (Shepard) and the authentic, simple life with a great appreciation for family, love, home, and remaining grounded (Dark). I was sad with the abrupt last letter from Shepard although I did find on the net an article that showed that they did reconciled at some point - thank god. Obviously a complex relationship. I believe Dark would have been there for Sam as much as Sam would let him in the end - especially after we see how he cared for Scarlet. What an amazing person.

Book in very nice condition, as advertised.
Prompt shipping. The book was in very good, almost like new with traces of edge-wear. We're very pleased.
