I've put together a lot of furniture over the years. This bed is sturdy! The parts were good quality and the instructions easy to follow. It only takes a single included allen wrench to assemble. The wrench could be better to ease assembly but its a one time use and then thrown away. The fit and finish is good. While the headboard isn't grand or plush, it simple and elegant. Once completely assembled the bed is sturdy. At first the wood slats seem undersized, but once the mattress is on I couldn't tell. It would take an adult to jump up and down on the mattress to possibly break it. Don't plan on putting heavy items in the drawers as they are wire baskets on wheels. They are great for winter clothes, wrapping paper, spare linens etc.. I'm using this bed in a guest room. It would be great for kids/teen bedrooms and if your on a budget the master bedroom. 5 for sturdiness, style, and assembly. 4 on the drawers. This is a post assembly review, not a long term review.

We purchased this as a Prime Day deal. We've wanted a bed like this for a long time, but were hoping we'd find one that wasn't a platform bed.We couldn't pass up the deal on this, so went ahead and ordered it. Installation wasn't hard at all. The bed is very sturdy and eye appealing.My main downfall is the drawers. They seem very flimsy and get stuck...a lot. Other than that, great bed!

Assembled and started using this a few days ago, and I'm so happy with it. The frame itself is super sturdy and stable, all metal pieces and thick screws/bolts, with very precise dimensions not allowing it to wiggle around at all, so it's squeak-free so far. Every piece was labeled and the instructions pamphlet was easy to follow, with all the screws and other tiny pieces very well-packaged and labeled as well. The cloth on the headboard, footboard and draws is soft and decent quality. The gray is bit better-looking in person than in the photos, it should be pretty versatile to work with your decor.Pros:- very solid, sturdy- easy-ish assembly (lot of steps, but easy-to-follow instructions)- very, very high quality for the price- great engineeringCons:- it's super heavy when assembled, you will likely have to disassemble it to move it to another home- the wooden support slats use thick plastic pegs instead of bolts to attach to the frame; the pegs may dry-rot over time and need to be replaced with boltsSummary:I'm super happy with this purchase, and honestly think it will be worth the disassembly and reassembly for our next move. If it suits your fashion, I highly recommend.

Beautiful bed frame!! Love the color, fabric and drawer space. It is easy to assemble and very sturdy and well made. I did need help bringing the box in the house, but opened it up and pulled pieces as I needed. Would highly recommend. Delivery was on time and box was in perfect shape.

First of all, the assembly was easy and I was able to complete it by myself. I especially loved that the materials and tools were neatly organized so I was able to know what to use according to the instructions. The bed is perfect even though my room is kind of small. Having the drawers at the bottom relieve me of having to find additional space to fit another dresser.

Pretty good value at around $200. It looks nice and is sturdy enough for our needs. (Tween bed)The biggest complaint, which is a big one, is the odor. It's has a pretty foul smell I think is coming from the fabric material, but maybe the wood. Not your typical chemical type smell some products have.  We are currently on day 2. Have read others with the same complaint who were not able to get rid of the odor.Assembly took a couple of hours and was straightforward. All you need is the allen wrench that is included.Tip: Pay close attention the positioning of the side rails when assembling. Make sure those open slots for the drawer stays are on the outside.It was well packed and came in one box.The drawers are fine. Not amazing, but not bad. They are on wheels and roll out easily. There is a round bolt type fitting on the back of the drawer panel that you have to line up with a hole on the frame to lock the drawer in place. This is a nice simple feature so the drawers stay in place when closed.We are using a regular mattress that used to be on a box spring and frame and this sits a bit lower.I wish it a few inches higher on the base which would also give the drawers more height.Instead of wire basket drawers, solid would be preferred to keep the dust out, but at this price point it's fine.Without the odor, I would buy again. If the odor does not go away, I'd pass on this. There's no way I'm disassembling it and packing it up to return though, so we are stuck with it at this point. Hopefully the smell clears out soon.
