Good sled for hauling gear through low tide
Got a great deal on this by buying a ‘used’ sled that was actually just a return and still had the sticker on it. Would recommend that avenue if it’s an option. I use it to commercially wild harvest oysters and so far so good- definitely can handle some weight, and getting dragged over jagged terrain. It would be great for hauling gear while winter camping or ice fishing. The only downside is the lip could be slightly beefier but I only notice when I have it filled to the brim and am asking a lot of it.

Big enough to carry your gear or some firewood
The sled is well made as all products made by Pelican are. I was surprised how easy it was to pull along with the tow strap with about 200lbs. of firewood over the snow.if you are skiing in the back country for an extended period of time (about a week). This Pelican Sled tracks well in the snow efficiently to carry all of your gear, food and safety supplies to your winter camp site.

Sturdy, large, nice color
This is a great sled, very well-made and came with a cover, which I probably won't need, but was a nice extra. Unfortunately (and it doesn't appear to have come from the packing, must have occurred before shipped, there is a deep gouge in the black part, on top of the sled and a dent in the bottom on the blue part on the same side. It's not terrible, but definitely takes away from the satisfaction level. It is a very nice sled though.

GREAT TO CARRY SUPPLIES !
USED THIS FOR THE BEACH, CARRYING SUPPLIES FROM THE CONDO. WORKS GREAT ! AND THEN MY SONS WILL USE WHILE DUCK HUNTING ! WE DID ADD A HANDLE ON THE ROPE TO MAKE IT EASIER TO USE.

Best sled ever and the 52 size is perfect for solo or duo winter backpacking
Really impressed by the sled.i just came back from 3 days winter backpacking with about 15kg of gear and it was very easy to pull even in little ascent. on flat ground you don't feel you are pulling the sled, impressive!i did few adjustments by myself that you can find on youtube videos: pulling pole 6 feet is the best length if you are pulling by ski, 5 feet if pulling by snowshoes and secure net over the cover to keep the stuff in place plus to avoid the snow to get in in deep snow despite the cover.The height is perfect in case of deep snow as i faced few times.Btw, the cover is included in the package, which is very convenient.
