This is a fantastic book, the likes of which you will never see again.I have known and rode with Malcolm. There is not a kinder, more generous, polite, and clean living racer that I know of- characteristics hard to find in that world today. A natural and uncanny rider and racer that may never come along again.This book is an in depth look at his life, and his riding and racing career. Something that documents where the sole of off road motorcycle racing came from. A book and a story that should be handed off to the next generation, and not forgotten.

Reading this book will make anyone who rides off-road remember all of their own adventures. Malcolm Smith is a legend ,and HERO to all us dirt bikers ! ,and we've all experienced similar memorable and exciting adventures .I , myself grew up in Williamstown Ma. and remember clearly , The 73 I.S.D.T. , all the bikes and riders going by, covered with mud , bikes that now are considered "vintage" that i wished i could have owned and rode! And a personal connection , seeing a house i lived in , with my second wife and her sister out front watching Malcolm Smith going by in the same 73 I.S.D.T. race ,WOW !!! Definitely, a collector item.

Unhesitatingly, five stars.Maybe not the flowing prows of a New York Times Best Seller, and all the better for it.It really reads like it is in his own words and creates a closeness to his adventures that a more polished and well edited autobiography couldn't .An amazing personality, who has ridden by me a few times in Colorado, always with a smile, who has shown he can write as effectively as he can ride... Enjoyed reading about history of Husqvarna and how Malcolm was involved.

Malcolm Smith is/was one of my heroes. So glad that this book includes so many fine photographs of his long career. ISDT and Baja winner, movie star and successful businessman Malcolm is the real deal. Very nicely done, proud to have this book on my coffee table.

Gave this book to our son as a Christmas gift. He loves it! He says it has even more interesting stories and fascinating information than he ever imagined. It was definitely a hit. Highly recommend!
