I have been on the look out for some high quality realistic puzzles for my 3 and 1 year old and these were the perfect fit for our family! I love that the images used for the animals are all beautiful actual photos! So many of the puzzles I have come across are unappealing cartoons. I prefer my kids to learn how to identify the various animals from real depictions. The different tiers of difficulty is also a wonderful aspect of this set, with some of the puzzles being made up of 3 pieces some with 4 and some with 5 pieces. It keeps the children engaged for several minutes and then it stows away nicely into the box for another day. I would highly recommend this set!

I can confirm that the cardboard is thick for these puzzle pieces, thicker than the average jigsaw puzzle. The colors are bright and the pictures are clear. I know my baby will love these when he's big enough to not put them in his mouth right away, haha.My only con is that the box is a little small. I couldn't close the box when the pieces were loose. I put the puzzles back together and put them in and it closed nice for storage. So that's can be a little bit of a pain. But the boxes they come in are as advertised, and having them in a smaller box will be nice for storage. Also learning to put things like this away is a good lifeskill for young children, and they'll be able to stack them in and probably would enjoy that activity.

My 3.5 year old loves animals and we wanted to get her some new puzzles. These are great! I love that they start out easy and get more challenging. The quality of the animal graphic is good and the puzzle pieces stick together easily. Overall very happy with this.

These puzzles are made very well. The pieces are thick and they seem to be quite durable. All of the pieces are large in size making them easy to hang onto and control better. All of them have 3-5 pieces per puzzle. Very simple for little ones to practice and build confidence. There are a good variety of animals for them to recognize and learn as well. Would make a good gift. Would highly recommend.
