So much fun. Have not used it much yet ecExcept to test out but loved it. Follow the instructions and it works perfectly. Definitely worth the cost for a decent product that works.

The media could not be loaded. This product is great to save a little time when doing your creations. I recommend the following steps. Make sure you follow the instructions properly. Be patient until you learn the steps. When you have the beginning set up ready to go, make sure you pre unwind your yarn so it runs flawlessly. I encountered a couple of stops when my yarn was in a ball.I added a couple of pictures of what it looks like when the yarn has not been properly started in The hooks. As you can see the blue strap can show 2 different kind of knits. Which once I was aware, I then redid the hooks and continued the knit. It’s now super easy to start and finish my cords. It’s not super fast but I think it works in perfect timing for me. I recommend this product!

I purchased this product because I am a machine knitter and I have lots of yarn ends and single skeins of yarn. I thought that I could make lots of icord from this yarn and do some stash busting and make some home decor products from the icord. I had originally purchased a hand crank version but it was very slow going, lots of work and not reducing my stash very fast. Enter an electric icord knitter.Pros: it makes icord without me cranking. It has very good directions with lots of pictures. It is very complete with crochet hook, weights. It came with a USB cord for power. It’s compact. Not super noisy.Cons: the motor is quite weak and labors with even small amounts of tension on the yarn. It’s quite slow. It requires constant attention, the weights need to be moved often. If the weights hit the floor, you’ll get dropped stitches and uneven cord. I can’t decide if the USB power is good or bad.I will definitely keep it and use it for smaller projects but it is not what I really need.

This icord maker works great! My first machine didn’t function properly, and the support team was very helpful in handling the issue. They had prompt responses and we figured out a solution quickly. Highly recommend!

The motor isn't strong enough, it constantly stalls. The knitted cord is inconsistent in width with dropped stitches everywhere, resulting in an unusable cord and a waste of yarn. Also the crochet hook was missing.

This is the first time I ordered some type of knitting or crochet machine and really loved it. Following the setup on the internet and running it was so easy and I love the results of just the first time. If you're thinking about it yes purchase it is a great buy.

The media could not be loaded. On one hand, if you have an understanding of how to use icord makers, it's very easy to set up and get going. I use a hand crank icord maker and it's very easy and fast for me to use.Upon setting this up, getting yarn started, adding weights, and pressing the power button...it's soooo slow.It's like watching grass grow or paint dry. Painfully slow.Now this would be great for a newbie to icords. But I want SPEEEEEED. I wish there were speed options and I keep checking for any hidden buttons but cannot find any.You can't leave this unattended, which I understand, but when it's so slow, watching it pains me.Have I mentioned it's slow?I will definitely use it. But wish upon wish it would magically speed up!
