Awesome set of air dry modeling clay
The sturdy 11" x 7.5" x 3.5" box is packed tight with modeling clay. Each packet is about 2" x 1.5" x 5/8". The huge variety of colors makes air dry clay more fun for my kids. I use this clay in my two arts and crafts classes for 5 to 9 year old kids. They love it! I play with them.My kids think that having more colors makes modeling clay play more fun, so they love this set. I like the open-ended creativity that it inspires. The instruction brochure shows a few cute models to make, and illustrates some techniques. Some small zip lock bags are included for storing clay; snack size zip lock bags are also good for this. Four clay tools are handy when you have a few people working at the same time. The kids had no end of creative ideas, and I played with the clay too. I made a small vase, a bowl, and flat flowers with leaves. There are lots of cute ideas on Pinterest and YouTube. We have some small cookie cutters and silicone molds but the clay tends to stick to them unless you wait a few hours until it is a bit dry before you take it out. A small roller is useful, such as a piece of PVC pipe or thick dowel rod. You don't need any special tools, though, to make some great projects with this clay.We got some on the classroom carpet so I looked up how to clean it and found information on the Crayola web site. Let the clay harden completely and them scrape it with a dull butter knife or the edge of a spoon to turn it into a powder. Then vacuum. After that use a damp cloth on whatever is left.

So much fun with so many colors!
So many colors, so much fun, so many possibilities! This set of 102 color air dry clay kit provides endless creative opportunities for children and adults. The set comes with a small booklet that shows you a few different things you can make with some of the clay. The clay is very light and fluffy, similar to a marshmallow that will keep the shape you form it into. It has plenty of air-dry time to allow you enough time to work with the material, to really get your art how you envision it. The different colors come in a small 2"x1" plastic sealed bag. Once you open the individual clay, you need to make sure to have another bag to transfer the open unused clay into. Great kit and fun for the whole family.

Wonderful!!!
My kids are having so much fun with this air-dry clay! It’s very soft, smooth. and pretty non-sticky. There’s also a nice big range of colors in this box. The clay holds its shape really well, but does have a bit of stretch also. It dries nicely with no issues with cracking. I gotta say, I couldn’t help getting into it myself. It feels good to just squish it in your hand or between your fingers. We were worried about the little figures possibly falling apart, so we used sections of wooden toothpicks run through the centers of the pieces to help stabilize them. This is a great value for all you get. Comes with little baggies for saving scraps and small plastic shaping tools. The full color user manual has some great suggested projects inside.

hard to sort through
I had never used air dry clay, but my kid is in a building/creating phase, so I decided to get them to do with him. My mind was envisioning all sorts of cute Christmas ornaments, made of clay. Well that didn't go to plan but we still had fun creating with it.C0LORS: This set comes with a lot of colors, like a lot, but there is just a little bit for each one. so unless you are creating tiny things, its a once and done type of deal.WEIGHT: This is a very lightweight product, think foam like.TEXTURE: While in workable mode, this clay has a texture of chewing gum, it is quite pliable, sticky even. Makes it very easy to work it but also to have your kid smear it all around the surface which leaves you scrapping it off before it dries. Once dry, it feels like a hard foam, not true clay. Requires some effort to tear it apart, but it is very easy to bend even after drying for several days.DRYING: Somethin as thin as 1/16, took about a day to fully dry. The bigger the item, the longer it will take to dry. I took some baking racks to enable airflow and help dry the whole piece, as the parts that were against surfaces would stay "wet" until rotated. Something like a bread scrapper, helped pick the pieces whole from where we made them to the racks without destroying them, as they will stick to whatever surface you are building on.STORING AFTER USE: This set brings some tiny zip lock bags to store leftover clay. Unless your smooch all the air out of the bag before you close them, those leftover will still dry out and become unusable after a week or two. Also it is hard to remove the clay once it sticks to the inside of the bags, leading to waste.CONCLUSION: this set is totally worth it if you have a artistic kid that just likes to create. Clean up is much easier than when doing playdough and the clay will easily stick to itself when assembling different parts. Smaller kids may get upset over "shapes" getting undone as it is very very malleable. I do wish the storage options with it was better, as it is near impossible to put all the small bags back into the original container.

Fun for crafts!
If you have a kid who loves crafts as much as mine does, this is a great deal. The set comes with 102 colors, they are smaller blocks of clay, but the variety of colors makes it easy to create whatever you want to create. It’s easily moldable, and you just leave it out to dry with no extra work. These are great for having your kid make gifts for people, or even just for fun. The price point is a little high at $25, but you do get a lot of colors in the pack.
