This could have been written about our family except we had beef cattle & sheep rather than dairy. This will get passed around with my 5 siblings.

Interesting recollection, especially after knowing one of the main characters in person; reflective of my own Midwest childhood.

Excellent book to read.

If you're a farm girl, this is such a great fun read!!! I enjoyed it thoroughly and could identify with the 'chores'.
