Little hard for conure to get open, would be perfect for a larger species
The amount of work my conure have to expend to get the drawers open means they spend a lot of time working on this. This also means I get a lot of quiet time. No need for screaming when you have treats to eat right? Like a lot of people said, the bottom draw wouldn't open. I had to wrench it open and open and close it a few times. Worked fine after that.A metal bar runs through the middle, this means the draws have a U shape so you cant fit Lafeber's treats in, you have to break them up. Most nuts fit fine. Works great otherwise.Edit: so I'm going to leave it at 4 starsThey figured out how to open the draws really easily. So good there. The can't get their heads down deep to get the seeds and nuts on the bottom. Not sure how a macaw or amazon would do, unless they can slip their beak in.Bottom drawer- just keep opening and closing it and it will lose up.

Great! Needs more head room for green cheek conures though
My Green Cheek Conure really likes this toy. Took him a good few weeks to get into it but now he loves it.My only issue is I have to fill the treats up really high so he can reach them, as his beak isn't long enough to get to the bottom of the drawer. His head is also not small enough to squeeze in either, making it like a set of three torture boxes when the treats get low. He just looks at them longingly.... lolSo I deducted one star for that. But other than that, a great little toy!

Great product. My African Grey has figured the hustle out on this one and it takes him virtually no time to clean it out. Maybe consider something more difficult? He also can't get his beak into the bottom of the draws so if what I stash inside beaks apart or is small he can't grab it.

Super fun and frustrating for our Sun Conure
Super fun and frustrating for our Sun Conure. My only complaint would be that once the doors open, they stay open which is kind of a hassle and boring for the bird.

My bird isn't as curious as I thought she might be. It took awhile for me to figure out how to take it apart to clean it but it is possible.

Foraging Pull Out Drawers Pet Feeder
My bird loved this foraging item immediately. I showed him how to open a drawer, and he was then able to do it by himself. He is a medium sized hook billed bird and cannot reach things at the bottom of the deep drawers. I make sure things are standing up for him or put something on the bottom of the drawer with his treat on top.Even though this item should really be purchased for a large bird with a big beak, my bird loves it and goes along with the modifications made for him.

Better for small birds
Got this for my macaw and he figured it out in two minutes. And he's not a puzzle guy. Bottom drawer cannot open, seems to be glued shut, so despite the picture, only the top two drawers actually open.

Desmond loves it!!
I ordered this particular parrot toy because if I buy him anything even remotely flimsy,he destroys whatever it is within minutes. Not this one! I put his Harrison pellets and pistachio nuts in the little drawers and he was occupied and not destroying anything for a good while. He still loves it.I must say, though, that the toy is a little too big for my Sennie,Desmond. I have to help him by opening the drawers a little, and making sure the height I place the toy is appropriate for him.I am sure t would be perfect for larger birds.
