This is a great set. The weights are true to their weight and the bar is durable. Great set.

Bar comes in 3 pieces, but super easy to put together and the length of the end pieces that screw into the center piece gives confidence that it is sturdy. Likewise, once assembled, it feels very sturdy. Easy to use. I love the plates that have grip holes. This makes plate storing and loading much easier. I didn't answer the star-rating on "value for money" because I am relatively new into this and so I don't have a good comparison point.

I ordered Style 6 (95 pounds total) which has the black & red weights with the 5 ft barbell. They were delivered in one box to my home by an Amazon truck instead of to the post office where most of my Amazon orders are delivered. So grateful for that! The box was fully intact and packed well. There were sheets of plywood between the sets of weights and the barbell was in three sections that easily screwed together. The weights have a rubber coating over the cast iron and shiny metal rivets in the 1 inch center hole. The openings in the plates make for easy handling. Excellent construction and design for sure! Very pleased overall with the Amazon delivery, the careful packaging and the quality of this product.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:The shaft length of the barbell (middle portion of the barbell that falls between the sleeves) is 35 inches. I recently assembled a weightlifting rack and discovered that I needed a barbell with a minimum shaft of 40 inches. Something to keep in mind if you own a rack.

My husband and I have really liked using this barbell. It's easy to put together and use. One thing I didn't like is the coating on the plates was flaking and cracked on some plates when they were delivered. The screw on piece that holds the plates on can be a little tedious to screw off to change plates as well, but it's not bad.

The bar is very heavy duty however I don’t really care for the fact that the bar screws together, the threads are long and it’s solid steel but with benching or squatting a couple hundred pounds I’m not sure how safe that would be in the long run lol. The bar does work great and I’ve had no issues with it, the plates it comes with are good, high quality as well and the spinny things that go on the end of the threads don’t like to actually stay tightened they loosen up very easily unless you tap them a few times with a rubber hammer. I recommend this bar for anyone who wants to be able to work out at home and won’t be doing extreme weights like 200lbs plus, I’d have to say this is more of a starter bar than anything but definitely a good place to start for the price and quality!
