Noobibaba 12V LED Driver 15W, 240V to 12V LED Transformer Power Supply Compact Size IP67 Waterproof 2 Pieces

I used this to replace a failed driver, easy to fit but not too sure about the IP67 rating, I covered it just in case.

I used this for an led moonlight setup on my marine tank. I picked this driver as there is limited space inside the hood on my tank , this will fit inside allowing me to keep it and the wiring out of sight. Easy to wire up, with output and input clearly marked and the wires are pre cut with solder on the ends , which helps for quick installation. I added a small piece of velcro to stick it down with an keep secure an hidden.

Bought this to be used as constant 12V DC power supply for a Google Nest thermostat. It's small size it's good because you can hide inside wall cavity/drywall. So far all good. I would recommend.

OK for powering something not much brighter than a candle 🕯 👍, I used this on 10w led and after 1hr of use was hot enough to not be able to touch it

Bought this full of confidence it would replace a burnt out transformer. Replaced old lamps with led lamps rated to 9w, 2 capsule lamps 2w each and 1 mr16 halogen replaced with 5w led. The 5w lamp flashed on and off and the capsule lamps wouldn't work until the 5w lamp removed. Tried changing the polarity which had no effect. The 5w lamp worked when unplugged and put back in until it was switched off then same again. Flashing apparently can occur at 85% load but it shouldn't have happened with a load of 60%.

Lol, i accidentally wired LED's without this and they just went POP! Yes it works, its great.Wire it into your MCB or into a plug if you wish, either works fine.

Easy to install in led circuit

I picked this one as the dimensions looked to fit the space I had available.However, one image shows 46mm and another shows 47mm for the same height. In reality it's 48mm or 50mm including the grommets.

Ich nutze die Trafos nicht für LEDs, sondern im Garten für Magnetventile, die auch mit 12V arbeiten.Da ist es dann ein Plus, dass sie IP67 dicht sind, wobei die Elektronik sowieso immer in wetterfesten Boxen ist.Klein und handlich passen die Netzteile zusammen mit einem Shelly Mini dann in kleine unauffällige Boxen und lassen sich dann steuern. Soweit alles in Ordnung!

Was sichtlich und messbar ist, ist gut.Gut verarbeitet und schutzisoliert.LED-Trafos liefern konstant je 11,8V bzw. 11,9V bei 12W Belastung und funktionieren gut mit IP-Kameras die mit 1A Netzteil betrieben versendet werden.Trafos können bis 15W liefern mit 1,25A. Somit werden Verbraucher die 1A benötigen das Netzteil nur mit 80% belasten, was dann sehr gut für die Langlebigkeit und Funktion des Trafos ist.Auch sehr zu empfehlen für alle LED-Leuchtmittel und allgemein Geräte, die mit 12V DC 1A versorgt werden sollen.Bei 80%iger Belastung (12W 1A) werden die Trafos nicht sonderlich warm und ein dauerhafter Betrieb in einer tiefen Unterputzdose wäre denkbar.Preis/Leistung aktuell 23,98 für 2 Stück ist ok.Was nicht so gut ist:Von der Größe passt 1 Trafo NICHT in eine Standard-Schalter-Unterputzdose oder Schalter-Hohlwanddose (siehe Bild 6).In tiefere Dosen könnte es mit Glück hochkant möglich sein (Bilder 7+8).Leider gerade keine zur Hand. Tiefere Schalterdosen sowieso, damit weniger Wärmestau auftreten kann.Wenn man extra große Verteilerdosen hat passen die Trafos bestimmt rein, aber wer hat das schon Unterputz leer, mit Platz darin(?)...Für solche Netzteile ungewöhnlich ist der Schutzleiteranschluss.Die Abdeckung auf der Vorderseite der Netzteile ist auch aus Blech (was auf den Bildern silberfarbig ist).Wahrscheinlich zur besseren Wärmeabführung(?) und muss deshalb auch geerdet werden.Schutleiter (PE) muss 230V AC seitig angeschlossen werden.Man kann das Gehäuse nicht befestigen. Es sind keine Haltevorrichtungen für Schrauben etc. vorhanden.Hoffen es war etwas hilfreich.
