These lights are gorgeous. Originally bought them to string around my front yard, but the weather here has been so bad that I’ve had to move them indoors to place them as accent lighting around my living room. They withstood tons of rain before I conceded, though, so I think the weatherproofing seems legit. I’m SO happy with how they’ve turned out, I may just get more lights for the outdoors separately!The description does not joke about these lights being stronger and unbreakable. They are so sturdy even when I was swinging the lights around. I can’t believe these are so cheap for how long the light string is!The amount of light is fairly strong during the day, but show up beautifully at night. Works well with dimmer switch and/or smart plug.

the d@mned neighbor's tree fell into our yard, damaging our roof, gutters, siding and completely destroyed our gazebo (where these lights were hanging) and furniture. what survived? the LIGHTS!! while still attached to the crushed gazebo, they turned on. Oh, and pre gazebo annihilation, they looked great, too.

These ended up being some really nice lights. They are spaced wide as you can see in one of the pictures, but you can bunch them up to create a smaller display. They are the type of lights that are nice to have on the back porch, patio, or yard. Not real bright but enough to make it feel comfortable. The bulbs are a shatter proof plastic type bulb so no worries about breaking them. At 52' you can string these almost anywhere. The other thing that is nice about them, each bulb has a opening at the top which gives you plenty of options for hanging them. The set came with an extra bulb and black wire ties. If you are looking to add some nice lighting to the porch, patio, or yard, these are the ticket.

These lights are the best deal for your money !I bought 6 strands and completely surrounded my back yard on one switchLove them - buying more to put on the outside of my fence now !

The lights are very bright and look great. Because they are plastic, I don't have to worry about glass breaking on my patio. Only drawback - there's a lot of space between bulbs. A little less would have been nice. But I would definitely buy these again.

Purchased lights a year ago from Brightown that this current set replaced, ordered these new ones with the hopes to connect the two sets and extend the length of them. The lights are identical and no where in the description did it mention them not being compatible with superseded identical products. When the new set was ordered all I did was hit re-order through Amazon, same landing page, identical looking product so I never thought twice. Long story short the two light sets don’t work together and the company is more or less saying too bad. Rude and horrible customer service not owning up to their mistake. Purchase with caution

We are very happy with this these. We like the remote control to adjust the brightness. So far all bulbs still lit up being on from dusk to dawn for over half of this year. I ordered replacement bulbs to have when they do burn out as all bulbs do. I haven’t changed one yet! I keep ordering more when to add on. I got others to order these too after I told them how well they are still staying lit and surviving through the rain too. These are electric so get dusk to Dawn plug to take care of it to light up areas you need.
