I'm currently in college, and the chapters in my textbooks are long and overwhelming to read. Not because of a learning disability, but because I can't focus on reading a line of text long enough to retain the information. I'd get frustrated and just stop reading altogether. There have been several courses I've taken where I was assigned to read the text, and completely ignored it but managed to pass the course. I bought this a couple weeks ago and I've been able to read all the chapters in these books quicker than I have in years. I'm so glad I bought this. It's larger than I thought it'd be, but I'm okay with that. And the material is not too flimsy. Now that I can keep up with the readings, I'll be getting better grades! I wish it came in more colors, though.

I have purchased these more times than I can count for my students to use who struggle with tracking and eye fatigue. Young readers sometimes have a hard time adjusting to reading longer texts with smaller print. Some kids are distracted and look around then lose their place. This highlighter works for both. The key is it’s size and that the reader can see what is coming. This is much better than the highlighters that show one line of text and block out the next line. To become fluent and quick readers need to see what is coming next. Great buy!

Super helpful for my students. They are flimsy for the price and should be sold in bulk instead of indivudually.

This has been the only reading accommodation that has helped my son in his reading (he has mild cerebral palsy and ADHD). We have tried everything and this one worked perfectly.

This is great, but honestly I wish it was Matte like very very matte. It is not and it gives a bad glare that hurts my head when I read and that is annoying. If hold my book in an uncomfortable manner I do not get the glare. Please please make a totally very very matte one of these and in different colors.Now, on the plus side. I love the size and the clear reading window. Others do not have the clear reading window and I needed that.

My daughter, who is 7, has dyslexia, orthographic processing disorder, visual processing disorder and ADHD has found this item very helpful. This really aides her in staying focused on reading, especially chapter books so that she’s able to build her comprehension rather than her getting lost in the text.My only gripe is that it’s long and spills over on the side of the page. I really wish this came in 2 sizes, this size and shorter so that it would be easier to adjust on the page. So far the window cut out is excellent, she prefers it over the color overlay portion.

This is an excellent tool for anyone who has difficulty concentration or understanding written text. While it is rather pricey once shipping is factored in, I highly recommend it.
